Ten articles were selected, of which 80% are systematic reviews and high-quality meta-analyses from countries such as China, Israel, the United States, Brazil, and Australia, and 20% are clinical trial articles from the United States. Results: In the 10 articles, it was evidenced that 80% (8/10) of the authors agree that the use of norepinephrine in patients with septic shock presented fewer cardiac adverse events, and decreased the arrhythmia rate, compared to the use of dopamine. In contrast, dopamine is less effective compared to norepinephrine due to its adverse effects like arrhythmias and increased mortality.
