Material and Methods: Systematic observational and retrospective quantitative review, subject to the choice of analysis, using the Grade evaluation system and establishing the level of evidence, located in the information sources: PubMed, Epistemonikos, Sciencedirect: Of the 10 reviews systematics 100% are of high quality as described below: 20% (n= 2/10) are meta-analyses, 10% (n= 1/10) are systematic review and 70% (n= 7/10)) are randomized controlled trials. Given by the product acquired in systematic reviews currently drawn up from countries such as China with (30%), followed by Turkey (20%), Brazil (20%), Belgium (10%), the United States (10%) and South Korea ( 10%). Results: Of the evidence found, 80% (n=8/10) indicate the effectiveness of manual lymphatic drainage compared to other drainage methods to prevent lymphedema in patients with breast cancer. 20% (n=2/10) indicate that manual lymphatic drainage is not effective compared to other drainage methods to prevent lymphedema in patients with breast cancer. Conclusion: Manual lymphatic drainage is effective in preventing lymphedema in patients with breast cancer.
