Buenas prácticas de almacenamiento para la correcta conservación del producto farmacéutico en las boticas de Bellavista Callao 2021

The objective of this research was to evaluate whether Good Storage Practices (GSP) are applied for the proper conservation of pharmaceutical products in drugstores in the Bellavista district of Callao, 2021. Methodology: A deductive method with a quantitative approach was applied. The study was also basic and had a descriptive, longitudinal, and prospective level. Results: The average compliance with GSP among the drugstores regarding the quality assurance system was 18.00% (LOW) on the first visit, 27.00% (LOW) on the second, and 35.00% (LOW) on the third. For facilities and distribution, concerning location and required areas, compliance was 40.00% (LOW) on the first visit, 47.00% (LOW) on the second, and 50.00% (MEDIUM) on the third. For documentation (official books, SOPs, etc.), compliance was 29.00% (LOW) on the first visit, 39.00% (LOW) on the second, and 54.00% (MEDIUM) on the third. For human resources (knowledge, understanding, and compliance with the GSP Manual), it was 23.00% (LOW) on the first visit, 35.00% (LOW) on the second, and 36.00% (LOW) on the third. It is worth noting that the drugstores did not have temperature-sensitive products and thus did not require refrigeration or freezer units. Conclusion: The evaluated points of GSP in the five pharmaceutical establishments (drugstores) had a compliance of 27.50% (LOW) on the first visit, 37.00% (LOW) on the second, and 43.75% (LOW) on the third. However, it is important to highlight that they showed a progressive improvement in GSP compliance.

Conocimiento de buenas prácticas de almacenamiento, distribución y transporte en estudiantes de Farmacia y Bioquímica de la Universidad Norbert Wiener del tercer año, Lima setiembre 2021 – abril 2022

The general objective of this study was to determine the level of knowledge about good storage, distribution, and transportation practices (GSDTP) among third-year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry at Norbert Wiener University from September 2021 to April 2022. The methodology used was basic, inductive-observational, with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The instrument employed was a 20-question questionnaire administered to 107 third-year students from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry through simple random sampling. The results showed that 53.3% of students had a medium level of knowledge, followed by 27.1% with a high level and 19.6% with a low level of knowledge regarding GSDTP for pharmaceutical products. By dimensions, 70.1% were found to have a low level of knowledge, while only 2.8% had a high level of knowledge in the operational procedures dimension, and 1.9% had a high level in the operational definitions dimension. This indicates that the students of the faculty lack awareness of the important topics and key points in manuals on good storage, distribution, and transportation practices. In conclusion, it was determined that third-year Pharmacy and Biochemistry students have a medium level of knowledge about GSDTP.

Conocimiento del almacenamiento y forma de eliminación de medicamentos en pacientes que asisten al centro de salud Santa Clara – distrito Ate vitarte – Lima Metropolitana 2022

The storage and disposal of medications within households has become a common practice that can pose risks to health safety. This study was carried out with the objective of identifying patients’ knowledge regarding medication storage and disposal at the Santa Clara Health Center. A descriptive study with a quantitative approach was conducted, surveying 320 patients. The findings revealed that knowledge about storage varied significantly. With respect to type of medication, 45.0% of patients demonstrated low knowledge, 32.5% medium, and 22.5% high. Considering pharmaceutical form, 20.3% had low knowledge, 31.3% medium, and 48.4% high. Knowledge about storage according to preservation conditions was low in 45.0% of participants. In terms of disposal practices, 87.2% of patients disposed of medications inadequately by type, and only 12.8% adequately. According to pharmaceutical form, 71.9% disposed of medications inadequately, while 28.1% did so adequately. Based on traditional habits, 65.6% eliminated medications adequately and 34.4% inadequately. In conclusion, 46.3% of patients demonstrated low knowledge regarding medication storage, and the disposal of medications at home was found to be mostly inadequate, reaching 73.4% during the 2022 study period.

Conocimiento sobre buenas prácticas de almacenamiento y grado de cumplimiento en el servicio de farmacia del Hospital Municipal Los Olivos – 2020

The general objective of this research was to establish the relationship between the level of knowledge of Good Storage Practices (GSP) and the degree of compliance in the Pharmacy Service of the Los Olivos Municipal Hospital in 2020. Materials and method: The research method was observational, documentary-inductive, a basic type, with a quantitative approach, a descriptive-correlational level, a cross-sectional scope, and a non-experimental design. A 33-question questionnaire with single-choice answers for the knowledge variable was applied to 80 voluntary participants. An inspection guide with 74 items for the GSP compliance variable was applied in situ in the storage area. Results: The personnel's level of knowledge was regular (45%), good (30%), and poor (25%). Regarding the degree of GSP compliance, 56.25% were non-compliant, and 43.75% were compliant. The relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance with GSP is direct and significant, with a p-value of 0.000 (less than 0.05). Conclusion: The personnel's level of knowledge is regular to good; consequently, they do comply with Good Storage Practices. However, greater staff training is suggested.

The objective of this research was to determine the level of compliance with Good Storage Practices (GSP) for the proposal and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in drugstores that contract third-party storage services at Somefarm S.A.C., Lima-2021. Method: The method was deductive, with an applied type, quantitative approach, descriptive level, longitudinal scope, and non-experimental design. The instrument used was the inspection guide for drugstores, specialized warehouses, and customs warehouses that store Pharmaceutical Products, approved by Ministerial Resolution (R.M.) N° 132-2015/MINSA. Results: The general level of GSP compliance was initially low to medium, with only 35% of drugstores at a high level, 55% at a medium level, and 10% at a low level. Compliance with GSP based on SOPs was also measured, with only 30% of drugstores at a high level, 50% at a medium level, and 20% at a low level. Following these initial results, 21 SOPs and two manuals were implemented in the deficient drugstores, and GSP compliance was measured again. The general compliance level improved, with 50% of drugstores now at a high level, 35% at a medium level, and 15% at a low level. Compliance with GSP based on SOPs also improved, with 60% of drugstores at a high level, 25% at a medium level, and 15% at a low level. Conclusion: The implementation of SOPs improves the level of compliance with GSP.

Cumplimiento de las buenas prácticas de almacenamiento en una cadena de boticas en la ciudad de Trujillo, junio-agosto 2022

The objective of the study was to determine compliance with good storage practices in a drugstore chain in the city of Trujillo, June-August 2022.Methodology: Deductive method, quantitative approach, basic type, descriptive level, non-experimental design, cross section retrospective. The technique used was observation with the observation guide instrument, the population and sample consisted of 15 pharmacies from the pharmacies chain Peru, the sampling has been non-probabilistic of an intentional type. Whose results show in terms of infrastructure compliance with 66,6%, in internal organization compliance is medium with 83,3%, in personnel compliance with 55,6 % and management and distribution technique is high compliance with 66,6%. Conclusion it is determined that compliance with good storage practices in a chain of pharmacies in the city of Trujillo, June August 2022 is average compliance with 66,7%.

Cumplimiento de los lineamientos descritos en las actas de inspección para la certificación de las buenas prácticas de oficinas farmacéuticas en dos cadenas de boticas en Lima Metropolitana 2020–2021

Good Pharmaceutical Office Practice Certification is a set of standards established for compliance by pharmacies and drugstores. It serves to reinforce activities, requirements, and operating procedures that have not been prioritized in a business strategy mainly focused on the sale of pharmaceutical products. Objective: To determine the degree of compliance with the guidelines described in the inspection reports for the Good Pharmaceutical Office Practices Certification. Methodology: The research methodology was deductive and synthetic. The instrument used was a checklist consisting of 29 items for the evaluation of 145 regulatory and verification inspection reports. Results: 13.10% complied with the guidelines for Good Storage Practices (GSP). 74.48% of the responsible personnel did not comply with GSP. 90.34% had Standard Operating Procedures, and 60% showed that the facilities and equipment were moderately adequate. Conclusion: 80.69% did not comply with the guidelines described in the inspection reports for the Good Pharmaceutical Office Practices Certification.

Evaluación del cumplimiento de buenas prácticas de almacenamiento y dispensación en las oficinas farmacéuticas del distrito de Ate Vitarte, Lima – 2022

The objective of the research was to evaluate the degree of compliance with Good Storage Practices (GSP) and Good Dispensing Practices (GDP) in pharmaceutical offices in the district of Ate Vitarte, Lima - 2022. The study was approached using the deductive method, a quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 221 pharmaceutical offices, 38 pharmacies, and 183 drugstores. The observation technique was used, with an observation guide as the instrument. Results: Compliance with GSP in delineated, organized, and labeled areas was 41.53% (low in drugstores) and 47.37% (high in pharmacies); infrastructure 39.89% (medium in drugstores) and 44.74% (high in pharmacies); internal organization 62.84% (low in drugstores) and 52.63% (high in pharmacies); human resources 43.17% (low in drugstores) and 52.63% (high in pharmacies); material resources and equipment 38.25% (low in drugstores) and 36.84% (high in pharmacies); safety and maintenance 54.64% (low in drugstores) and 47.37% (high in pharmacies); and handling techniques 48.63% (low in drugstores) and 50% (high in pharmacies). Regarding GDP, compliance in dispensing and/or sales staff was 53.55% (low in drugstores) and 52.63% (high in pharmacies); prescription reception and validation 52.46% (low in drugstores) and 39.47% (high in pharmacies); prescription analysis and interpretation 39.89% (low in drugstores) and 52.63% (high in pharmacies); preparation and selection of products for delivery 48.09% (low in drugstores) and 55.26% (high in pharmacies); record management 52.46% (low in drugstores) and 57.89% (high in pharmacies); and product delivery and information by the dispenser 63.93% (low in drugstores) and 63.16% (high in pharmacies). Conclusion: Drugstores presented a low compliance level with GSP (49.18%) and GDP (54.64%), while pharmacies demonstrated high compliance with GSP (44.74%) and GDP (47.37%).

Factores ambientales en el almacenamiento de los óvulos vaginales de la farmacia Medipharma en el distrito Grocio Prado – Chincha Alta – Ica – 2022

In the study, the objective was: To determine the relationship between environmental factors and the storage of vaginal suppositories at the MEDIPHARMA pharmacy in the Grocio Prado district - Chincha Alta - Ica - 2022. The methodology applied a quantitative approach, correlational level, basic type, non-experimental cross-sectional design, with a population of 90 users of the MEDIPHARMA pharmacy and 90 vaginal suppositories of CLINDES DUO from the MEDIFARMA laboratory and CLIXDIN from the IQFARMA laboratory stored in the warehouse. Results: It was found that there is a relationship between environmental factors and the storage of vaginal suppositories, indicating that the Pearson correlation test value (r = 0.268*) shows a low positive relationship, with p < 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. Conclusion: It was determined that there is a relationship between environmental factors and the storage of vaginal suppositories at the MEDIPHARMA pharmacy.

Gestión de abastecimiento y su relación con la disponibilidad de medicamentos en la jurisdicción Red de Salud Huaytará, Huancavelica, 2021

The objective of the study was to evaluate the relationship between supply control and drug availability in the Red de Salud Huaytará jurisdiction, Huancavelica 2021. The type of research is applied at an observational, descriptive and correlational level; with a quantitative approach and non-experimental research design with a cross section. The sample located 83 managers of the pharmacy service. For the first variable, a Likert-type questionnaire was used with a validated instrument and reliability of 0.559. The data recording instrument was used for the second variable by subtracting it from a computer system. The probability associated with Chi-square and Spearman's coefficient was used. The result expressed a predominant percentage of 98.80% for the first variable that detailed the process as regular and for the second variable a percentage of 93.02%; which reduces the level as optimal. In conclusion, it is prolonged that there is a correspondence p=0.000 (p<0.05) between supply management, both in the processes of choice, planning, purchase, storage, distribution and transport and rational use, with the availability of medicines. in the jurisdiction of the Huaytará Health Network, Huancavelica, 2021; being statistically more significant with distribution and transportation.

Hábitos frente al manejo de medicamentos en los hogares del distrito Mi Perú. Callao 2021

Medications are one of the most widely used therapeutic tools today, and their proper use allows the population to obtain enormous benefits. It should be noted that most people have little health education regarding the correct storage and disposal of medications. There is generally a custom of keeping leftover medications from prescribed treatments, which are then reused improperly without any control when similar symptoms appear, carrying the consequent risk of ineffectiveness, toxicity, or adverse effects. Therefore, this study was conducted with the objective of evaluating the habits related to medication management in households in the Mi Perú district, Callao, in 2021. Method: The deductive method was used through surveys of 213 residents of the Mi Perú district. Results: 40.4% of the respondents in the district had a fair level of storage and disposal management, while 33.3% did so improperly, and 26.3% had an adequate level. Conclusion: The population of the Mi Perú district has fair habits regarding the storage and disposal aspects of medication management.

Nivel de conocimiento del almacenamiento domiciliario de medicamentos en los adultos mayores durante la pandemia, Callao 2021

Storage is a relevant element to ensure that medicines preserve their physicochemical characteristics and maintain their therapeutic efficacy. The objective was to evaluate the level of knowledge about home storage of medicines among older adults during the pandemic, Callao 2021, in its three dimensions: temperature, humidity, and light exposure. The methodology was descriptive, applied, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental cross-sectional design, and involved the participation of 191 older adults through the application of a previously validated questionnaire via Google Forms. Results: The evaluation of the level of knowledge considering environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and light exposure showed the following results: the level of knowledge about the storage temperature of medicines was medium (60.2%); the level of knowledge about conservation humidity was high (50.8%); and the level of knowledge about light exposure of medicines was high (64.9%). On average, a medium level (49.7%) was found. Conclusion: The level of knowledge about home storage of medicines among the older adult population during the pandemic, Callao 2021, was medium, with 49.7%.

Prácticas de almacenamiento de especialidades farmacéuticas en los hogares del complejo habitacional Manzanilla. Lima 2022

The objective of this research was to evaluate the storage practices of pharmaceutical specialties in the homes of the Manzanilla housing complex, located in the district of Cercado de Lima. For this purpose, a basic, observational - non-experimental, cross-sectional, and prospective study was conducted, using a deductive method and a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 245 households from the Manzanilla housing complex, where a questionnaire with 16 questions was applied. The results indicated that the domestic storage practices of pharmaceutical specialties in terms of conditions were adequate; however, the practices in terms of location and methods were not adequate. It was concluded, based on the score provided, that the domestic storage practices of pharmaceutical specialties were generally adequate.

The present thesis proposed the implementation of technical documents to ensure compliance with Good Distribution and Transportation Practices in Pharmaceutical Specialty Wholesalers at controlled room temperature, in order to preserve the quality, efficacy, and safety of products during distribution and transportation, as stipulated in R.M. No. 833-2015/MINSA. The research consisted of five stages. In the first stage, the R.M. No. 833-2015/MINSA was reviewed and analyzed, and eleven points were identified for compliance with Good Distribution and Transportation Practices for Pharmaceutical Specialties at controlled room temperature. In the second stage, a Quality Manual and an Organization and Functions Manual were developed. In the third stage, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) were prepared. In the fourth stage, Record Formats were implemented. In the fifth stage, compliance with the requirements of R.M. No. 833-2015/MINSA was verified using a checklist. In this thesis, the implementation of the following technical documents was proposed: two manuals, twenty Standard Operating Procedures, and twenty-five Record Formats. The proposal for implementing the technical documents was carried out based on a detailed analysis and in accordance with the requirements of R.M. No. 833-2015/MINSA.

In this present investigation, the objective was: "to determine the relationship that exists between the review of compliance with good storage practices and the conservation of dietary products in the Italfarmaco Perú drugstore, Miraflores district, Lima 2023". Methodology: A hypothetical-deductive approach was used with a basic quantitative design. The research did not follow an experimental design and was carried out with a cross-section, using a correlational level. The population was composed of the warehouse areas and the dietary products, which are in the Italfarmaco drugstore warehouse. Results: the asymptotic significance was 0.199 > 0.05, therefore, the null hypothesis was accepted and the alternative hypothesis was rejected. Conclusion: it was determined that there is no relationship between both variables.
