Adherence factors involved in the treatment of cancer patients
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Saravia Reyes, Mabel Magaly; Vilca Huallanca, María Esperanza; Gamarra Bustillos, Carlos
Objective: Determine the adherence factors that intervene in the treatment of cancer patients. Methodology: It is a systematic review in different Medline databases - Pubmed, Lilacs, Scielo and Science direct, following the PICO format, the inclusion criteria were: scientific articles published between 2006 and 2016 in Spanish and English, with selection final of 12 articles. Results: Of the 12 articles reviewed, 100% (12/12 articles) that intervened were the sociocultural factor, which had 59% (7/12), while the factor of adverse effects to treatment had 50% (6/12) and the economic factor has 17% (2/12). The quality of the articles was mostly moderate at 75% (9/12). In the most searched articles it was in the country of Nigeria (3/12) with 25.6%, in which the dimension that most intervened for non-adherence to treatment was the economic factor. Conclusions: The associated adherence factor was, according to this review, multifactorial and involves sociocultural factors, adverse effects of treatment, and economic factors. Strategies and alternatives must be generated to develop early interventions that allow for better therapeutic adherence in cancer patients.

Factors Associated with Self-Medication and its Relationship with Practice in Nursing Staff in Times of Pandemic, 2021
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-01-06) Bendezu Vera, Miguel Angel; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan Haydee
Objective is: To establish the relationship that exists between the components associated with self-medication and its relationship with the practice in nursing staff in times of pandemic 2021 This thesis uses a deductive methodology; It consists of a method of reasoning and reaching a conclusion based on a series of premises. In which it consists of drawing a conclusion based on a premise that is assumed to be true. In the results we have that, in the factors associated with self-medication, the significance value of p is greater than the value of the risk level at 5%, the null hypothesis is accepted, p = 0.726> x = 0.05%, we accept the null hypothesis and we say that the null hypothesis is true as a result of applying chi square, we have that in the social factor dimension the p value is greater than the value of the risk level at 5% the null hypothesis is accepted p = 0.001 < x = 0.5, the null hypothesis is rejected and we say that the alternate hypothesis is true as a result of applying chi square. 100% of the population has insurance, 63.7% always self-medicate. 64.9% always self-medicate and have a monthly income > 1800 soles. I conclude: That the factors associated with self-medication are independent of the practice in nursing staff.

Factors influencing adherence to treatment in patients with tuberculosis
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-10-31) Montañez Cancino, Gloria Maria; Palomino Taquire, Rewards
This work aims to analyze scientific articles related to the factors that are determinants in the degree of adherence to treatment presented by patients with tuberculosis. The study design was a systematic review, having as population 10 scientific articles that were published in the last 10 years, selected and analyzed using the GRADE evaluation and establishing their scientific quality. Obtaining as a result: 40% (4/10) were cohort studies, 30% (3/10) were systematic reviews, 20% (2/10) were cross-sectional studies and 10% (1/10) were quasi-experimental. It was observed that adherence to treatment is a very complex issue, since up to 10 factors that influence the patient's healing process have been identified. These include family support, being part of a risk group, stigma about the disease, knowledge about TB, low socioeconomic status, home vulnerability, distance to the treatment center, low education, working in service or construction sectors, and mental health problems. Conclusions: The process of treatment adherence is complex, since there are circumstances that do not directly depend on the patient. Therefore, if we want to prevent patients from abandoning treatment, their situation must be taken into account in order to offer them quality service. Thus, there is a great need for specialized care from health centers.

Factors that influence in compliance with the antiamarilica vaccine in children under 5 years old in the health center mirones alto, Lima 2019
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-08-27) Villafuerte Cosme, Juliana Nancy; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan Haydee
Objective: To determine the factors influencing compliance with the yellow fever vaccination in children under 5 years of age at the Mirones Alto Health Center, Lima, 2019. Materials and methods: The study followed a quantitative approach with a descriptive level and a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 85 mothers of children under 5 years old who visited the immunization area of the Mirones Alto Health Center in Lima in 2019. The survey technique was applied, using a questionnaire with 14 questions divided into two dimensions: biosocioeconomic and knowledge. For the statistical analysis, a linear regression test was used. Results: There was an influence of the biosocioeconomic dimension on the dependent variable of yellow fever vaccination compliance, with an R value of 0.593, indicating a moderate positive correlation, and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. This suggests that these factors are related to mothers complying with the vaccination. Regarding the knowledge dimension, there was also an influence on the dependent variable of yellow fever vaccination compliance in children under 5 years, with an R value of 0.900, indicating a very strong positive correlation, and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. This suggests that these factors strongly influence mothers' compliance with the vaccination. Conclusion: There is an influence of factors associated with yellow fever vaccination compliance.
