Conocimiento de alertas DIGEMID y su relación con la formación en farmacovigilancia de los educandos del octavo y noveno ciclo de farmacia y bioquímica de la Universidad Norbert Wiener, Perú 2022
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-05-19) Calzada Bustamante, Ketty María; Oyarce Alvarado, Elmer
In the national context, research regarding pharmacovigilance knowledge among Pharmacy and Biochemistry students is scarce. This research addresses aspects related to the academic training of this discipline within the university setting through knowledge of DIGEMID alerts. The research was developed using the hypothetical-deductive methodology, with a quantitative approach, and a basic, descriptive-correlational design. The sampling was simple random probabilistic, and the sample population consisted of 151 students. The technique used was a survey, and the instrument was a virtual questionnaire with 20 closed questions. Results: Of the 151 respondents, 92.1% identified safety aspects, 76.8% identified counterfeiting aspects, 68.9% identified quality aspects, 79.5% identified detection aspects, 84.1% identified evaluation and comprehension aspects, and 78.8% identified prevention aspects. Conclusion: A relationship was determined to exist between the knowledge of DIGEMID alerts and the pharmacovigilance training of students in the eighth and ninth cycles of Pharmacy and Biochemistry at Norbert Wiener University, Peru, 2022.

Determinación del uso de las fuentes de información de medicamentos por los internos de la Facultad de Farmacia y Bioquímica de la Universidad Norbert Wiener en el periodo 2014-I
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2015) Pebe Bendezu, Lili Lorena; Quispe Oyarce, Santos Fredelina; Herencia Torres, Victor Reynaldo
The present research aimed to determine the use of drug information sources consulted by interns from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry (pre-professional practices, second level) at Norbert Wiener University during the first semester of 2014. Materials and Methods. This was an observational, descriptive, and cross-sectional study. The study included 100% (63) of the interns from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, obtained from a stratified sample. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS version 21 and Microsoft Excel. Results. Regarding the drug information sources most frequently consulted by the interns during their pre-professional practices, it was found that the most used primary sources were Journal of Evidence-Based Healthcare (30%) and JAMA (22%). Among secondary sources, the most frequently consulted were Medline (52%) and PubMed (40%). The most consulted tertiary sources were The Merck Manual Online (52%) and Meyler’s (35%). Likewise, the most consulted drug information centers were CENADIM (51%) and CIM-Wiener (27%). Conclusion. It was determined that the drug information sources used by the interns were primarily for academic and professional development purposes. Interns from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry accessed these drug information sources responsibly, through available and widely accepted websites. Therefore, the implementation of the CIM-Wiener for drug information searches is considered appropriate, although further instruction is necessary to ensure that searches are conducted quickly and responsibly given their complexity.

Grado de conocimiento del suministro de medicamento en universitarios del VIII ciclo del periodo 2018-II de la Facultad de Farmacia y Bioquímica de la Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-11-06) De La Cruz Flores, Ildaura; Vilchez Paz, Stefany Bernita
The objective of this research was to determine the level of knowledge of medication supply among eighth-cycle university students during the 2018-II period at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of Norbert Wiener Private University. The level of knowledge was measured using a questionnaire, which was validated by hospital-sector experts. It included general data on age, sex, and attitude, as well as 20 cognition questions on the topic. The study was conducted on 102 students, and the data were analyzed using frequency tables. Results: 52.9% of the students had a good level of knowledge about medication supply, 36.3% had an acceptable level, and 10.8% had a deficient level. Regarding the stages, a good level was found in selection (71.6%) and in planning (48.0%), while an acceptable level was found in acquisition (59.8%), storage (47.1%), and distribution (69.9%). A good level was also found in the 'use' stage (59.8%). Conclusion: The study population has a considerable level of knowledge about the topic.
