The studies reviewed had a time limit of 10 years. Results: Scientific evidence was found and confirmed regarding the maternal and perinatal benefits of Emergency Obstetric Psychoprophylaxis. The analyzed studies show a considerable reduction in the duration of the labor stages, both in the Latent Phase and Active Phase, as well as in the Expulsive Phase. It was also demonstrated that the delivery was more likely to end via vaginal birth in patients who received Emergency Obstetric Psychoprophylaxis. In relation to perinatal benefits, the Apgar score achieved positively impacts perinatal health. Conclusion: There is scientific evidence supporting the maternal benefits in the stages of labor, the completion of delivery, as well as the perinatal benefits measured through the APGAR score for those patients who received Emergency Obstetric Psychoprophylaxis.
