Ítem Acceso abierto Emotional dependence and aggressiveness in young adults from the district of San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-12-13) Sosa Guillén, Johan Luis; Paico Ruiz, Marcos JoséThe objective of this research was to determine the relationship between emotional dependence and aggression in young adults from the district of San Juan de Lurigancho. The study type is descriptive correlational, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design and non-probabilistic sampling, with a sample of 176 young adults (94 men and 82 women) aged 18 to 30 years. The instruments used were the Emotional Dependence Questionnaire "CDE" (2006) and the Buss and Perry Aggression Questionnaire "AQ," Peruvian adaptation (2012). The results showed a direct and significant correlation between both variables (rho = 0.318, p < 0.00), meaning that young adults who exhibit emotional dependence tend to express aggressive behaviors, aiming to hurt others physically, psychologically, or sexually.Ítem Acceso abierto Emotional dependence and self-esteem in high school students of I.E.P. Guillermo Mercado Barroso, Arequipa – 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-07-19) Cordero Mejía, Giordano Daniel; Vega Mendoza, Kattia YolandaThe objective of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional dependence and self-esteem in high school students at a private institution in Arequipa. The method followed was the hypothetical-deductive method, a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The study consisted of 80 high school students from a private educational institution in Arequipa. The instruments used were the Emotional Dependence Scale (ACCA) by Anicama et al. (2013) and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (EAR) by Rosenberg (1965). The research results indicated that there is no significant relationship between the study variables, as the calculated p-value was greater than 0.05 (0.473); thus, it is concluded that there is no significant inverse relationship between emotional dependence and self-esteem in high school students at a private educational institution in Arequipa.
