    Perception of training quality and confidence in carrying out endodontic treatments in students of Norbert University Wiener in Lima, 2022

    The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between 'perception of formative quality' and 'confidence in performing endodontic treatments' in students at the UNW in Lima, 2022. To achieve the proposed objective, a basic, observational, cross-sectional, and correlational study was conducted. A questionnaire was applied to 157 students from the Dentistry program at the aforementioned higher education institution, selected through probabilistic sampling. According to the results, 5.1% of the students with low confidence in performing endodontic treatments had a low perception of formative quality, 74.6% with medium confidence had a medium perception of formative quality, and 6.4% with high confidence had a high perception of formative quality. A high positive relationship was determined with a value of (r = 0.793; p < 0.000). Therefore, it was concluded that the perception of formative quality is related to confidence in performing endodontic treatments in students at the UNW in Lima, 2022.
