Objective: To determine how physical activity during and after the pandemic relates to metabolic diseases in Mi Farma workers. Materials and methods: A Likert-type survey was used. The method was hypothetical deductive. The research had a quantitative approach, a non-experimental, descriptive, and cross sectional design, with a sample size of 137 Mi Farma workers. Results: As physical activity increased or improved, the percentage of workers with at least one metabolic disease decreased, from 71.4% to 0% during the pandemic and from 66.7% to 0% after the pandemic. This same pattern was observed when comparing groups with different eating habits or with different sleep quality and duration. That is, as lifestyles improved (adequate physical activity, adequate or healthy eating habits, adequate sleep quality and duration), the percentage of workers with at least one metabolic disease decreased. Conclusion: It was determined that of the workers who had an inadequate lifestyle during and after the pandemic, 100% (n=3) had some metabolic disease (overweight, diabetes, high cholesterol or triglycerides), demonstrating a significant relationship between metabolic diseases and lifestyle during and after the pandemic among Mi Farma workers.
