Materials and Methods: Systematic Reviews are an observational and retrospective research design that synthesizes the results of multiple primary studies. They are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific clinical practice questions. The review was systematic, observational, and retrospective, with a search limited to 8 full-text articles. It was found that 50% of the articles came from Brazil, 25% from Peru, and 12.5% from Spain and Honduras. Results: Occupational risks faced by nurses include: Biological Risks, with contamination from injuries and/or needle punctures being the most frequent cause at 69% and the non-use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at 60%; Chemical Risks, due to exposure to sterilizing agents and toxic gases, at 35.9%; Physical Risks, from inadequate lighting (50%), mechanical, vibrations, noise, and thermal risks at 33.3%; Ergonomic Risks, present in 38.3% to 57.3%, with improper postures (18%), falls (22%), and standing for prolonged periods; Psychological Risks, from verbal and physical abuse (61.54%), job insecurity (23.8%), and work overload. Conclusions: The greatest occupational risk for nursing staff working in the Sterilization Center is ergonomic risk, with additional exposure to biological, physical, chemical, and psychosocial risks. Understanding the particularities of the work environment and its relationship with the worker will help implement policies for the prevention of occupational diseases and accidents, as well as the promotion of healthy lifestyles at work (6). Its objective is to determine the relationship that exists between the work environment and the work performance of the workers of the public institution - Huánuco. Having as a design: correlational type of research, transversal descriptive type, deductive method, with a quantitative approach, research design is non-experimental. Which will take place in the public institution Huánuco-Peru. With a total of 100 workers who simultaneously represent the study sample. To collect the data, the questionnaires from the worker's work environment scale - WEIS will be applied and at the same time the results of the evaluation of the workers' work performance, which is carried out monthly, evaluating their transversal competencies, will be received. To carry out the data analysis, a matrix will be created in Microsoft Excel 2013 where the data that will be extracted will be poured into. To carry out the statistical analysis of the data, the frequency distribution will be used, calculating measures of central tendency, such as median, mean and percentages, measures of dispersion, in the same way the range and standard deviation in quantitative variables.Ítem Acceso abierto Working conditions and occupational diseases in professionals’ nurses in emergency areas of a hospital in Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-08-13) Espinoza Medina, Verónica Idalia; Morillo Acasio, Berlina del RosarioThe objective of this study was to determine the relationship between occupational risk conditions and occupational diseases in professional nurses in emergency areas of a Hospital in Lima 2023. Despite being legally recognized in the country as microentrepreneurs, the working conditions in the public streets and the precariousness of self-employment are factors that affect the general imbalance of their health. This type of occupation is usually exposed to various safety and health risks, including harassment or physical abuse as part of street vending, where the lack of information and organization on occupational health is evident. This study aims to determine the relationship between work stress and the working conditions of emolientero workers. The results will allow us to examine preventive interventions by nursing professionals in this occupational group, as well as the self-care of the microentrepreneur. The contribution of this new knowledge will also help municipal managers who will have the opportunity to improve some of the conditions of the public streets in formal sales, such as emolientero workers, and allow them to work safely, dignified and healthily.Ítem Acceso abierto Workplace accidents and their relationship with occupational diseases in the operating room nursing staff in a private clinic in Lima, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-11) Garcia Felix, Brenda Carolina; Molina Torres, Jose GregorioOccupational diseases are caused by prolonged and constant exposure to physical, chemical or biological contaminants in the work environment that have an adverse effect on the worker's general health.
