Ítem Acceso abierto Ergonomic risk and musculoskeletal injuries in the administrative employees of a public entity, Lima, 2023.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-09-25) Saenz Cazorla, Katherine Dilet; Puma Chombo, Jorge EloyThe objective of the research is to determine the relationship between ergonomic risk and musculoskeletal injuries in administrative personnel at a public institution in Lima, 2023. Materials and methods: Non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional, and prospective research. The technique for the ergonomic risk variable was observation, and for musculoskeletal injuries, a survey was used. The instruments included the RULA method for assessing ergonomic risk and the Nordic questionnaire for musculoskeletal injuries, both validated for reliability. The sample consisted of 80 administrative employees working at the Anti-Drug Directorate of the National Police of Peru. Results: Musculoskeletal disorders in administrative staff showed that 63.7% were male, with the predominant age range being 20 to 30 years. Ergonomic risk according to RULA showed a 70% need for further study, and musculoskeletal injuries were found in only 16.2%. Inferential statistics: Spearman’s correlation test showed a p-value of 0.055. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between ergonomic risk and musculoskeletal injuries in administrative staff, as the p-value obtained is greater than the 5% significance level (0.055 > 0.050).
