Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of Helicobacter pylori eradication in the prevention of gastric cancer in adult patients.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-07-07) Huaira Collandres, Gina Veronica; Gamarra Bustillos, CarlosObjective: To evaluate the evidence on the effectiveness of warming devices in the prevention and maintenance of temperature during inadvertent hypothermia in the perioperative period in surgical patients. Results: Fifty percent (n = 5/10) indicate the effectiveness of warming devices in preventing and maintaining temperature during inadvertent hypothermia in the peri- and postoperative period in surgical patients, while the other 50% (n = 5/10) show concordance but do not provide evidence of effectiveness as it was not measured. Conclusion: Half of the studies (5/10) indicate the effectiveness of warming devices in preventing and maintaining temperature during inadvertent hypothermia in the peri- and postoperative period in surgical patients. The remaining 5/10 indicate concordance with the use of warming devices in the prevention and maintenance of temperature during inadvertent hypothermia in the peri- and postoperative period in surgical patients.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of Helicobacter pylori eradication in the prevention of gastric cancer in adult patients.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-07-07) Espinoza Acuña, Mary Baneza; Huaira Collandres, Gina Veronica; Gamarra Bustillos, CarlosObjectives: To systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of Helicobacter pylori eradication in the prevention of gastric cancer in adult patients. Materials and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, which is an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to its rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific clinical practice questions. The search was restricted to selected articles with full text and subjected to critical reading using the Grade system. Results: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, with 20% (02) corresponding to the United States and China, while 10% (01) corresponded to Colombia, England, Spain, Italy, Canada, and Japan. The majority were systematic review studies, accounting for 60%, primarily from Colombia, England, Spain, China, the United States, and Italy, while 30% belonged to experimental studies from Canada, China, and the United States. Additionally, 10% were case-control studies from Japan. The analyzed articles confirmed the effectiveness of Helicobacter pylori eradication. Conclusions: The 10 systematically analyzed articles provide evidence of the effectiveness of Helicobacter pylori eradication in the prevention of gastric cancer in adult patients.
