Ítem Acceso abierto Exposure to noise as a contributing factor to work stress in health personnel in different hospital units(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-08-02) Cristóbal Mejia, Yenitza Elizabeth; Quiñonez Condor, Judith Lady; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoObjective: Systematize the evidence on noise exposure as a contributing factor to work stress in health personnel in different hospital units. Materials and Methods: Systematic Review where we seek to synthesize the evidence obtained from various primary and secondary investigations. We have relevant studies that answer the research question, in search we have a restriction of articles with the full title, as for the outstanding studies, they were subjected to the interpretation of the content applied strategic judgment, using the system called grade to identify the strength of the recommendation. Results: we have 10 selected articles, as a result of the review it was obtained that 3/10 (30%) studies were carried out in Brazil, 2/10 (20%) in Colombia, 2/10 (20%) in Mexico, 1 /10 (10%) in the United States, 1 /10 (10%) in Ecuador and 1 /10 (10%) in Chile. 50% of the evidence was of high quality, 10% of medium quality and 40% of low quality of evidence. 50% were systematic reviews, 30% were cross-sectional descriptive studies, 10% were expert opinions and 10% were cohort studies. Conclusions: Noise is a factor that contributes to stress in health workers in various hospital areas. In 3 of the 10 articles it is evident that the hearing threshold is different depending on the person, there are essential factors among them we have gender, age and marital status that increase the risks of suffering damage to this threshold. Each health personnel perceives noise differently. The noises generated in hospital units are not the only ones; we also have noises from the outside environment such as the noise of cars (horn), shouting of users, etc., which lead to human responses such as annoyance, lack of concentration, stress and this is reflected in work performance.Ítem Acceso abierto Factors linked to the abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) in mothers from La Clínica María del Socorro, located in the ATE-2020 district(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-07-02) Valenzuela Villajuan, Xiomara Gianina; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeObjective To determine the factors linked to the abandonment of Exclusive Breastfeeding in mothers from the María del Socorro Clinic, located in the District of Ate. Among the materials, a review of the bibliographic material was applied. Regarding the method, a quantitative study was carried out on 50 mothers in the postpartum stage, who regularly attend pediatric check-ups at the María del Socorro clinic. The interview was used as a data collection technique and the researcher Carhuas Jem's questionnaire, which has been validated by the Expert Judgment method with 5 Judges and for reliability the Tes-Reset technique has been applied. Data collection took place over a month and the interviews lasted an estimated 35 minutes. Among the relevant results, it was possible to determine several factors, such as socioeconomic ones, where 56% have a marital status of cohabiting and 64% have a higher education level, however, 68% are not working, 50% are dedicated to household chores and 48% of the mothers have an insufficient economic income, the majority (84%) coming from the Sierra and the Coast. Also cultural factors, where 96% consider breast milk as an ideal food and 60% as a provider of nutrients to the child. In conclusion, the evidence found could be linked to the abandonment of EBF.Ítem Acceso abierto Factors that influence depression in long-stay geriatric patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017-08-24) Cancio Nuñez, Virginia Estefania; Cordero Bravo, María Del Carmen; Gómez Gonzales, Walter EdgarObjective: Systematize evidence on the factors that influence depression in long-stay geriatric patients. Results: The articles found, 14 of them, indicate that the factors that influence depression in the elderly are: 1.- Socio-demographic factor (female sex, incomplete primary education, illiteracy, grief, chronic degenerative diseases, entry into residence, fear to death, neurological and psychiatric disorders, marital status, high levels of anxiety, institutionalized less than 1 year), 2.- Economic Factor: low income, type of home, poor social support, dependency economic3.- ABVD factor: functional dependence, sedentary lifestyle, partially dependent women, dependence on some of the ABVD, polypharmacy, urinary incontinence, falls, sleep disorder. Conclusion: The socio-demographic, economic and ABDL factors described in the results influence depression in older adults. The same process of institutionalization has been documented by some authors as a trigger for depressive processes, and some authors propose how institutionalization in residences is associated with factors that favor the appearance of depressive symptoms or symptoms and that can lead to an increase in the prevalence of this process.Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of life in adult patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Reynoso Bernachea, David Angel; Rosales Cardenas, Margot Marili; Gómez Gonzales, Walter EdgarObjective: Systematize evidence on the quality of life of adult patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Materials and Methods: Systematic observational and retrospective review, the search was carried out in articles with full text and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading, according to the Grade system to identify the quality of evidence. Results: In the final selection, 10 scientific articles on quality of life in patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis were chosen: 03 studies correspond to a systematic review (30%), 01 cohort study (10%) and 06 studies are of a cross-sectional descriptive method. (60%), which present: Latin American (3), Asian (2), European (2), African (2) and American (1) studies, which applied the SF36 questionnaire to assess the quality of life, 90% of the articles analyzed report that there are no significant differences in the quality of life of patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis and only 10% represented by the Saudi Arabia study report that patients on peritoneal dialysis have a better quality of life, compared to hemodialysis patients, since it was applied to patients between 48 to 51 years old, in the studies, the possible factors related to quality of life were: age, comorbidity, marital status and education. Conclusions: Having carried out the systematic review of articles, it is concluded that there is no significant difference in the quality of life of patients with end-stage chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
