Materials and Methods: The study is quantitative and the research design is cross-sectional. The result of the research will influence the appropriate and timely decision-making that will allow the design of coping plans and solutions to this problem that is considered important. It will also allow nurses to face with certain skill the conflict situations that challenge and that do not exist. involves to a lesser extent in the quality of service provided to the patient. The population will be made up of 60 nurses who work in 4 areas of Surgical Centers of the National Cardiovascular Institute, who meet inclusion and exclusion criteria. The instrument to be applied for data collection will be the validated “Nursing Stress Scale”, whose main function is to evaluate work stress. This scale consists of 34 items that have been grouped into 3 categories: physical, psychological and social environment, classifying into three levels: low <40, Medium between 40 and 60, High >70.
