Adherence factors involved in the treatment of cancer patients
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Saravia Reyes, Mabel Magaly; Vilca Huallanca, María Esperanza; Gamarra Bustillos, Carlos
Objective: Determine the adherence factors that intervene in the treatment of cancer patients. Methodology: It is a systematic review in different Medline databases - Pubmed, Lilacs, Scielo and Science direct, following the PICO format, the inclusion criteria were: scientific articles published between 2006 and 2016 in Spanish and English, with selection final of 12 articles. Results: Of the 12 articles reviewed, 100% (12/12 articles) that intervened were the sociocultural factor, which had 59% (7/12), while the factor of adverse effects to treatment had 50% (6/12) and the economic factor has 17% (2/12). The quality of the articles was mostly moderate at 75% (9/12). In the most searched articles it was in the country of Nigeria (3/12) with 25.6%, in which the dimension that most intervened for non-adherence to treatment was the economic factor. Conclusions: The associated adherence factor was, according to this review, multifactorial and involves sociocultural factors, adverse effects of treatment, and economic factors. Strategies and alternatives must be generated to develop early interventions that allow for better therapeutic adherence in cancer patients.

(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-12-20) Villamar Arce, Sheila Yallily; Fernández Rengifo, Werther Fernando
Introduction: The World Health Organization (WHO) states that anemia affects around 800 million children and women in the world. In Peru, iron deficiency anemia is a serious public health problem affecting 46.6% of children. children at very early ages between 6 months and the first year of life, this situation being the same as that observed in the growth and development clinic of the Viña San Francisco health facility in the Santa Anita district, where the percentage of Anemia in 6-month-old infants reaches 39.8%, a figure that remains high in the first half of 2019 despite the health intervention strategies carried out to reduce cases of anemia in the target population. Objective: Describe the determining factors of anemia in 6-month-old infants. Method: The study has a quantitative approach, descriptive, cross-sectional and prospective, presenting a single main variable, the techniques used were documentary analysis and the interview and the instruments used were the monitoring sheet and the questionnaire applied to the mothers of 6-month-old infants with anemia, the population being the total number of infants, which was 27, constituting a census. Results: During the study period, it was identified that, of the total number of infants with anemia, 70.3% had mild anemia, 25.9% had moderate anemia and 3.7% had severe anemia, with the female sex prevailing with 59.2%. Regarding the determining factors of anemia, present: 25.9% of mothers had a history of anemia during pregnancy, it was identified that 85.1% of infants received iron supplementation at the health facility with timely initiation of the supplement and of them 51.7% consumed it in less than 2 months and 56.5% did not consume it daily, with poor adherence to prophylactic treatment. Regarding the type of feeding, 51.8% of the infants did not receive exclusive breastfeeding, its varieties being mixed, artificial breastfeeding and consumption of cow's milk. 1 infant with a history of prematurity and 2 infants with low birth weight were identified; however, none received prophylactic iron supplementation. 55.5% of infants had their complete vaccination for their age, 70.3% of infants did not have complete growth and development controls for their age. In relation to prevalent diseases, 44.4% of infants with anemia presented diarrheal disease and respiratory infections and of them 3 infants were hospitalized. It has been identified that more than 70% of mothers of infants are unaware of the consequences of anemia during pregnancy, the irreversible effects suffered by the child with anemia in their adult life and the areas of psychomotor development that are affected in the child. with anemia. Conclusions: From the results obtained, it is concluded that the majority of infants in the study had mild or slight anemia, with a predominance of the female sex. A good percentage of the infants began iron supplementation in a timely manner at the health facility. However, More than half of them did not comply with the treatment on a regular basis, identifying difficulties in adherence to treatment. Likewise, infants with a history of prematurity and low birth weight were found who did not receive supplementation despite being infants with a risk factor for anemia, it was found that half of the infants with anemia did not receive exclusive breastfeeding until 6 months, being essential for the prevention of the disease, there is non-compliance with the vaccination schedule and growth and development controls in the infants under study, conditioning the risk of suffering from prevalent diseases such as diarrhea and respiratory infections, as is the case, and at the same time losing the possibility of receiving growth controls and timely nutritional evaluation, it has also been identified that most of mothers interviewed, are unaware of the consequences of anemia in children, which could lead to non-compliance with basic nutritional care in the infant by parents from conception.

Effective strategies to strengthen growth and development in children
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Pereyra Campos, Cynthia Karin; Krederdt Araujo, Sherin Luz
Objective: Systematize the best evidence in already completed research; That is, to what extent the research found adds new knowledge to the central question. Material and methods: Information was collected from different articles according to the level of evidence and degree of recommendation. Thus, descriptive and correlational studies were selected. Results: The factors that intervene in the non-attendance of the CRED control of the boy and girl, the mothers and/or caregivers report that the nursing staff is insufficient and they have difficulties with the hours of care, with the waiting time, diversity of tasks of the home. Conclusions: It is detailed that in the range of 4 to 8%, fathers, mothers, caregivers have difficulties taking their children to the CRED due to work schedules, leaving their children in the care of minors, due to ignorance of the importance of the CRED, generating a significant gap between the children who attend the CRED and those who do not attend, which could be decisive, so that the children do not reach optimal development, causing them to be limited in their cognitive development and school performance, limiting their possibilities to access other levels of education, and with low economic productivity when they reach the adult stage of life. This is why it is essential to generate effective strategies to strengthen the growth and development of children; it is necessary to involve the person, family and community in this context, to preserve family health in the population.

(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-10-04) Alvarado Tafur, Dina Fortunata; Uturunco Vera, Milagros Lizbeth
The care of people is carried out in permanent interaction, and the scientific knowledge of nursing professionals who directly express the educational and supervision strategies to the person in need of care is essential. The efficiency and effectiveness of its functions depends on this, both in the human aspect and in compliance with the procedures to be carried out with the patient and family. TB alters the quality of life of users. Likewise, when diagnosed it represents great changes in their lifestyle for the user: a costly increase in economic spending and psychological changes, as well as for the family and the State. Furthermore, users require special care regarding TB, as they are considered a labile and risk group, so it is essential to safeguard their full well-being. It is vitally important to determine the level of self-care practices in patients receiving treatment against tuberculosis. The study will help lay the foundations for future research, with the results obtained we will be able to identify what or which areas we must reinforce during patient education, likewise during treatment supervision it will allow us to focus on the precise care that helps to have success of the treatment and with the contributions provided, reduce abandonment rates.

Occupational stress and coping strategies of nurses in the medicine service (third floor) at Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen Hospital
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2015) Castilla Aburto, Justina Victoria; Remigio Silva, Edwin David; Chávez Flores, Erik Mario
The origin of this work is to understand the level of work-related stress in nurses in the Medicine service, a service in which they are constantly exposed to strong emotions, tensions, and risks due to the nature of the patients who come to this service. If we add inadequate working conditions to this, these factors collectively generate "work-related stress," which affects their productivity, leading to poor quality nursing care. The objective of the study is to determine the level of work-related stress and the coping strategies of nurses in the Medicine service (third floor) at the Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen National Hospital. The study is quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, and non-experimental in design. The sample consists of 41 nurses from the Medicine service at the Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen Hospital. The instruments used were a Likert-type scale to measure stress and a coping strategies inventory developed by the author Nancy Rondoy, which were subjected to reliability testing. For the Likert-type scale, the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was used, with a result of Alpha = 0.99, indicating reliability. For validity, Pearson’s correlation coefficient was applied, resulting in a correlation coefficient of R > 0.20, which indicates validity. Similarly, the Coping Strategies Inventory was validated through expert judgment (9 judges), which allowed adjustments to be made according to their suggestions, with a result of p < 0.05, indicating significance. The results were as follows: The majority of nurses (53.7%) presented a medium level of work-related stress. When analyzing the results by dimension, a medium level of work-related stress was also found in the physical, psychological, and social dimensions (61%, 61%, and 53.7%, respectively). 56% of the nurses in the Medicine service (third floor) at the Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen Hospital had a moderately adequate level of coping strategies. Of these, 56% of the nurses had a moderately adequate level of physiological coping strategies, 48% had an adequate level of cognitive coping strategies, and 43% had a moderately adequate level of behavioral coping strategies.
