These articles were subjected to critical reading, using the Sistema Grade evaluation to identify their quality of evidence and strength of recommendation. Results: According to the evidence found, 100% of the authors report that the use of double gloves is effective compared to the use of single gloves as protection for surgical personnel in reducing perforations and percutaneous injuries, as they conclude that the use of double gloves It has more than 90% protection for both the patient and the surgical team, thus reducing contact with blood and body fluids. Conclusions: It was evident that the use of double gloves is more effective than the use of single gloves to reduce perforations and percutaneous injuries in surgical personnel.
