Psychosocial factors and burnout syndrome in nurses in the area of growth and development during the Covid-19 pandemic in the health facilities of the Diris Lima Norte - 2022

Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between psychosocial factors and the burnout syndrome of Nursing staff in the area of growth and development during the covid-19 pandemic of the Diris Lima Norte Health Establishments. Methods: the study will be Quantitative – Correlational. The population will be made up of 142 Health professionals who work in the different Health Establishments of the DIRIS Lima Norte. The sample will be taken between June and November 2022 using the Psychosocial Factors Identification Questionnaire, which aims to obtain data to help determine the psychosocial factors that are related to work stress. Conducted by the Graduate Specialist Vilma Maritza Chavez Romani in her study “Psychosocial factors related to work stress of the Nursing Graduates in the Surgical Center of the María Auxiliadora Hospital 2017”. and the “Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI)”, by Cristina Maslach, which will collect data to be processed and evaluate the relationship between both variables to understand how psychosocial factors influence burnout syndrome in health professionals.

Psychosocial factors and intention to serve vulnerable and neglected populations by dentistry students of the Norbert Wiener Private university in Lima, 2023

The objective of this study was to analyze the psychosocial factors and their influence on the intention to serve vulnerable and underserved populations by dental students at the Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener in Lima during 2023. A cross-sectional design was used with 120 participants who completed a questionnaire on their experience with access to dental care, psychosocial factors, and service intention. Statistical analysis included descriptive statistics. The results revealed that 83.3% of students demonstrated a medium level of knowledge regarding psychosocial factors. Additionally, 96% showed a medium level of confidence, and 72.2% scored medium in terms of previous behaviors in the psychosocial field. However, most respondents rated their attitude as "poor." Regarding the intention to serve vulnerable and underserved populations, 68.3% and 69% of participants expressed their intention as "regular," respectively. However, it is noteworthy that 28.6% and 29.4% of students expressed a "good" intention to serve these populations, indicating a significant commitment in this area.

Quality of life related to oral health in dentistry students at Norbert Wiener University during Covid-19, Lima 2021.

Objective: The objective of this research was to evaluate the level of oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) among dentistry students at Norbert Wiener University during the COVID-19 pandemic in Lima, 2021. Methodology: A quantitative, applied, and descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted. A sample of 341 students enrolled in all cycles of the dentistry program was obtained through random sampling. The participants received a questionnaire via email (Google Forms format) containing questions about OHRQoL factors, demographic factors, and psychosocial factors. The questionnaire was previously validated in content by expert judgment and internal consistency analysis (Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of 0.849). Results: The findings revealed that 68.9% of the students had a high OHRQoL, with a low impact across all dimensions except for handicap, which showed no impact. A significant relationship was found between most psychosocial factors (psychological instability, economic insecurity, academic, physical, and social insecurity) and the level of quality of life, while no relationship was found with demographic factors. Conclusion: A high level of OHRQoL predominated, which was related to various psychosocial factors.

El autocuidado de la salud mental componente importante de la salud en general y del bienestar, permite a la persona afrontar con éxito los desafíos y factores del medio ambiente y social. El objetivo fue determinar la relación entre los factores psicosociales y el autocuidado de la salud mental en las enfermeras de servicios críticos en el Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza. Metodología: La investigación fue de tipo cuantitativa, correlacional, diseño no experimental, transversal, la población estuvo constituida por 255 enfermeras que laboran en los servicios críticos. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron dos cuestionarios diferentes, para la variable factores psicosociales se aplicó la Escala de Factores psicosociales en el trabajo y para la variable autocuidado de la salud mental se utilizó la Escala conductas de autocuidado, obteniendo ambos un Ji Cuadrado de independencia de manera confiable con un IC del 95%, además ambos instrumentos fueron validados por Juicio de expertos. Resultados: Los factores psicosociales se relacionan únicamente en las dimensiones condiciones del lugar de trabajo y remuneración del rendimiento. Conclusiones: A pesar de haber relación entre las variables, un mayor porcentaje de enfermeras de los servicios críticos evidencia conductas de autocuidado de la salud mental.
