Ítem Acceso abierto Emotional intelligence and teaching performance of the nursing school, Norbert Wiener University, in times of virtuality, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-10-28) Rojas Neyra, Saúl Grimaldo; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoThe following research titled "Emotional intelligence and teaching performance at the School of Nursing, Norbert Wiener University, during virtual learning, 2022" had the objective of determining the relationship between emotional intelligence and teaching performance at the School of Nursing, Norbert Wiener University, during virtual learning. Research Methodology: The research method is hypothetical-deductive with a quantitative approach, basic type, and a non-experimental design at the correlational level with a cross-sectional cut. The sample population consisted of 42 university professors, of which 7 were full-time faculty and 35 were part-time faculty. The data collection technique was the survey for both variables. Results: Emotional intelligence and teaching performance at the School of Nursing, Norbert Wiener University, have a direct relationship, with a Spearman correlation result of 0.449, representing a moderate correlation with a significance of p=0.003, which is less than 0.05.
