A quantitative study was carried out using a non-experimental, observational, cross-sectional, descriptive design. Data were collected through a sanitary inspection checklist between January and June 2017, which included items such as sanitary habits, presentation of a training certificate in Good Food Handling Practices, and possession of a valid health card. The results show that 78.5% of food handlers do not apply Good Food Handling Practices, 57% present a valid health card, and 46% of food handlers demonstrate inadequate personal hygiene. It is necessary to intensify sanitary inspections, training, awareness, and sensitization of food handlers to ensure compliance with current sanitary regulations. Chiclayo 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-09-29) González Díaz, Meliza Yanely; Maza Chumioque, Jennifer Del Rocio; Collanque Pinto, Jesús DanielThe present study, "HYGIENIC-SANITARY CONDITIONS OF FOOD HANDLERS IN THE MOSHOQUEQUE MARKET, CHICLAYO 2023," aimed to evaluate the hygienic-sanitary conditions of food handlers in the Moshoqueque Market, Chiclayo 2023. Methodology: The study followed a deductive type, observational and cross-sectional design, with a descriptive level. It included 150 meat vendors from the Moshoqueque Market in Chiclayo. Data were collected using a checklist during May and June 2023. The checklist consisted of 39 questions to verify the dimensions proposed in the study. Results: The findings showed that 56% of those evaluated demonstrated good hygienic-sanitary conditions. Additionally, 67.3% of the premises had good infrastructure, and the surrounding environment was healthy. About 58% of the premises demonstrated proper handling of utensils and food, while 55.3% of food handlers evidenced good hygienic conditions for food handling. Furthermore, 58% of those evaluated showed good solid waste management. Con respecto a la metodología del escrito será de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental, correlacional y de corte transversal. la población contará con 1132 niños, la muestra estará establecida por 680 infantes. la técnica a usarse será la encuesta, y como instrumento el cuestionario el mismo que se dividirá según las tres dimensiones estudiadas: clasificación, preparación y prevalencia de la comida y como instrumento un cuestionario de preguntas.
