Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of supplementation with vitamin D plus calcium for the prevention of fractures in older adults.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-08-04) Santa Cruz Saavedra, Grace Vanessa; Prado Vidal, Rosaura Micaela; Avila Vargas Machuca, Jeannette GiselleObjective: To systematically analyze the available evidence from studies on the effectiveness of vitamin A and iron supplementation in the prevention of anemia in children under 5 years of age. Materials and Methods: The systematic review of 10 scientific articles found on the effectiveness of vitamin A and iron supplementation in the prevention of anemia in children under 5 years of age was conducted using the following databases: Cochrane, Lilacs, Scielo, Medline, PubMed. All articles were analyzed according to the grading scale to determine their strength and quality of evidence. Results: 90% (9/10) demonstrate the effectiveness of vitamin A and iron supplementation in preventing anemia in children under 5 years of age, while 10% of the reviewed articles conclude that more studies are needed to demonstrate the effectiveness of vitamin A and iron supplements in preventing anemia in children under 5 years of age. Conclusions: Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 9 articles show the effectiveness of vitamin A and iron supplementation in preventing anemia in children under 5 years of age, while 2 articles conclude that larger population studies are needed to demonstrate the effectiveness of vitamin A and iron supplementation in preventing anemia.Publicación Acceso abierto Nivel de kinesiofobia y la funcionalidad en post operados de fractura de tobillo–pie, en un hospital de Miraflores en el periodo 2025(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-06-26) Macha Rojas, Veronica Ana; Arrieta Córdova, Andy FreudLas fracturas en el tobillo representan una de las lesiones óseas mas comunes en la extremidad inferior, de las cuales la mayoría de los casos requieren una cirugía ortopédica, donde los procedimientos quirúrgicos ortopédicos son los mas dolorosos que pueda conllevar a una discapacidad funcional, generando secuelas físicas y psicológicas, uno de los factores psicológicos es la kinesiofobia siendo una conducta de miedo irracional al efectuar un movimiento, repercutiendo negativamente en la recuperación funcional del tobillo y en el proceso de rehabilitación.
