Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of high-level disinfection in safe disinfection of endoscopes(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Rubio Ampuero, Rosa Elena; Gómez Gonzales, Walter EdgarObjective: Determine the effectiveness of High Level Disinfection (HLD) in the safe disinfection of endoscopes. Methodology: Systematic review whose population is made up of 06 published and indexed scientific articles, data collection was carried out through Lilacs, Scielo, Cochrane Plus, Medline, the analysis was carried out through a summary table, evaluating the quality of evidence and strength of recommendation in a critical and intensive manner for each article according to the established technical criteria, guaranteeing compliance with ethical principles. Results: At the national level, the Herediana Medical Journal concludes that the bacterial load before the cleaning and disinfection process of 50 endoscopes was positive in 88% and after the process positive in 26%. At the international level, the Chilean Journal of Infectology refers to infections exogenous pneumonias such as post-bronchoscopy pneumonia, which reach incidence rates, according to the authors, between 0.6% and 6.9% of the procedures.(6).The Spanish Society of Gastroenterology refers in 02 studies that DAN is not sufficient, both for endoscopes and accessories. The predominant bacteria in the positive cultures were Pseudomona Aeruginosa and Klebsiella Pneumoniae. Conclusion: The systematic review shows that DAN is not sufficient for the safe disinfection of endoscopes in sterilization centers.Ítem Acceso abierto Humanized nursing care and the level of anxiety of patients, gastroenterology service, in a clinic in Lima, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-05-06) Tasayco Quispe, Fiorela Minerba; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeObjective: To determine the relationship between humanized nursing care and the level of anxiety of patients, Gastroenterology Service, in a Clinic in Lima, 2022; quantitative approach, hypothetical / deductive method, basic type of descriptive correlational level and a non-experimental cross-sectional design; a finite sample and population of 50 patients was applied, Gastroenterology Service, in a Clinic in Lima, 2022 using two instruments: the "Perception of humanized nursing care behaviors PCHE 3rd version" of 32 items and the "Zung Scale" questionnaire of 20 items, which had a reliability of 0.864 for humanized care and for anxiety 0.879. Results: 18.0% perceive humanized care at a bad level, 56.0% a regular level and 26.0% a good level. It was found that 18.0% had no level of anxiety, 22.0% had minimal to moderate anxiety, 48.0% had moderate to severe anxiety, and 12.0% had very severe anxiety. Conclusion: It was determined that humanized nursing care and the level of anxiety of patients, Gastroenterology Service, in a Clinic in Lima, 2022, are inversely related with a correlation coefficient of -0.786 considered moderate and significant at 0.000.Ítem Acceso abierto Nursing care and patient satisfaction in the gastroenterology service of the Hipólito Unanue National Hospital, Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-08) Zarate Zuñiga, Miriam Rosario; Suarez Valderrama, Yurik AnatoliThe objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the nursing care provided and patient satisfaction in the Gastroenterology service of the Hipólito Unanue National Hospital, Lima 2023. The study was quantitative, observational, cross-sectional, correlational. The sample consisted of 133 patients. The instrument that was applied for data collection was the questionnaire and observation. The research concluded that the nursing care provided is related to patient satisfaction in the Gastroenterology service of the Hipólito Unanue National Hospital.
