    Process of high-level disinfection of gastroscopes performed by the nursing professional in a hospital level II-2 Ica, 2021

    Objective: Determine the high-level disinfection process of gastroscopes carried out by the nursing professional in a Level II-2 hospital Ica 2021. Methodology: Deductive, quantitative, observational, transversal and retrospective study. Population of 400 endoscopy procedures, with a sample of 196 procedures, intentional non-probabilistic sampling, inclusion criteria: gastroscopy procedures, scheduled and those performed before the start of the gastroscopy procedure, exclusion criteria: lower digestive tract gastroscopies, emergency, and when the gastroscopy procedures have been started. Data collection technique and instrument: Observation and as an instrument an observation guide to collect data from the 8 dimensions of the single variable. Procedures: Data collection is scheduled for 3 months, which will be applied in the Gastroenterology office of a Level II-2 hospital. Once the information is collected, it will be entered into a database in Excel and SPSS. Statistical analysis: The statistical treatment of the data will be carried out in the SPSS version 25.0 program, taking into account descriptive statistics, to present the results in frequency tables and measures of central tendency and in the corresponding graphs in accordance with the objectives of the study. .
