Material and method: Descriptive, cross-sectional, retrospective study. in 127 patients registered in the database of the Dos de Mayo National Hospital in the period January - December 2018. Results: Of the total, a high proportion of pressure injuries was determined with 73 reports (57.5%), followed by phlebitis with 26 reports (20.5%), and falls with 25 reports (19.7%). 55.9% were women, 78.7% (100 cases) had follow-up by the staff, and 71.7% (91 cases) presented no damage, of which 56 (44%) corresponded to pressure injuries and 11.8% (15) corresponded to falls. Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge and the practice of managing polytraumatized patients that the emergency nurses of the Chilca Mala health center carry out in 2022. Method: To carry out this study, it will be developed based on the hypothetical deductive method with quantitative approach, without intervention which corresponds to a non-experimental study work with correlational design. Workplace accidents help reduce the severity of injuries, but there are different types and forms, each with its own purpose and use. Personal protective factors prevent the employee from being directly exposed to the risk agents exposed in the course of their work activities, even if it is proven that the worker does not use them. “Resistance to the use of personal protective equipment among workers at the “Torres” carpentry shop is one of the most common obstacles that we discovered in charge of advising and verifying the use of equipment. Rejection is caused by a variety of factors, such as annoyance, resistance to change, embarrassment or employee behavior, I don't know, I don't know or I can't. The verification of the practical, effective and reliable tool that can measure not only the worker's tolerance for protective equipment, but also the classification scale was carried out.
