La población será integrada por 45 profesionales de enfermería de la Central de Esterilización. Como método de recopilación de datos se usará la encuesta y el cuestionario para cada fenómeno en cuestión, los cuales han sido aprobados y cuentan con una gran fiabilidad. Tras aplicar los instrumentos, la información recopilada, codificada y registrada será organizada en un esquema tabular, que luego será evaluada de manera cuantitativa empleando el software SPSS 25.0. Se llevarán a cabo técnicas tanto descriptivas como inferenciales, la cual nos facilitará verificar la validez de las hipótesis planteadas en el estudio y, de este modo, obtener conclusiones derivadas del análisis de los fenómenos indagados.Publicación Acceso abierto Infecciones fúngicas y factores asociados en recolectores de basura, del Cercado de Lima, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-12-13) Choy Quiñones, Yazmin Alejandra; Astete Medrano, Delia JessicaLos recolectores de residuos desempeñan un papel medioambiental crucial a través de la eliminación de residuos municipales, aunque se enfrentan a importantes riesgos para la salud por la exposición a diversos materiales de desecho. En consecuencia, es esencial identificar los factores relacionados con las infecciones por hongos en los recolectores de basura, que podrían estar asociadas a prácticas de higiene y equipos de protección personal inadecuados, para desarrollar estrategias de salud eficaces para este grupo demográfico. Por ese motivo el objetivo de esta investigación fue Determinar la relación entre las infecciones fúngicas con los factores asociados en recolectores de basura, del Cercado de Lima, 2024. Este trabajo siguió una metodología de tipo observacional, analítica y correlacional; la muestra estuvo conformada por el total de recicladores de basura, que laboran de manera independiente en Barrios Altos, del Cercado de Lima, 2024. Como resultados se obtuvieron que la frecuencia de infecciones fúngicas fue de 53%; las especies fúngicas aisladas fueron Penicillium spp., siendo el hongo más frecuente con un (50%), seguido de Aspergillus spp. (19%), Fusarium spp. (13%), Alternaria spp. (6%), Cladosporium spp. (6%) y Candida parapsilosis (6%). Este trabajo demuestra una alta prevalencia de hongos ambientales colonizadores de la piel en recicladores, así mismo concluye que no existe relación entre las infecciones fúngicas con los factores asociados en recolectores de basura del Cercado de Lima, 2024.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and application of biosafety measures related to biological risk of nursing professionals in the emergency department of the Cayetano Heredia National Hospital, Lima - 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-07-03) Cajahuaringa Salazar, Elizabeth Lourdes; Castillo Rodriguez, Rosario Marcela; Huapaya Pizarro, Cleopatra de AméricaObjective: Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the application of biosafety measures related to biological risk of Nursing professionals of the Emergency Service of the Cayetano Heredia National Hospital, Lima - 2018. Materials and methods: It is a quantitative study of correlational, cross-sectional type. For this, two instruments were used: a questionnaire and an observation guide applied to the 60 Nursing professionals of the Emergency Service. Results: Regarding knowledge about safety measures related to biological risk, 60% presented a low level, followed by 38% with a regular level; and, finally, 2% with a high level. Regarding the application of security measures related to biological risk, 83% apply them regularly; followed by 10% with low application; finally, 7% with a high application. The findings confirm the correlation, obtaining, according to the Pearson Chi-square statistical test, a value of 10.911, for 4 degrees of freedom, with a p value of 0.028, this being (p < 0.05) of significance. Conclusions: There is a slight relationship between the level of knowledge and the application of safety measures related to biological risk of Nursing professionals in the Emergency Service at the Cayetano Heredia National Hospital.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge of the biosecurity measures of the technical staff in the emergency service of a hospital in Lima 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-01-11) Espinoza Ortega, Maribel; Fuentes Siles, María AngélicaObjective: Observational, descriptive, transversal, prospective study. The sample consisted of 70 nursing technicians. The information was collected through a survey conducted to the technical nursing staff in July 2020 at a hospital in Lima. 70% of the technical nursing staff are female and 30% are male. The sample to be applied in the research will be composed of 70 nursing professionals to whom the survey and the check list will be applied with techniques; the 2 instruments can be applied to people who meet the inclusion criteria and can be part of the study sample, by which we can then process through the SPSS statistical program all the results of each dimension of the study variables and after these to be presented through graphs and tables.Ítem Acceso abierto Occupational risk in the nursing staff of the central sterilization service of the Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo Essalud hospital, Chiclayo – 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-10-29) Chavesta Labrin, Yuliana Gissela; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoThe purpose of this research study is to determine the level of occupational risk in the nursing staff who work in the Central Sterilization service of the Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo Hospital, Essalud, Chiclayo 2021. This research will be applicative, quantitative, with a descriptive and cross-sectional method; with a population and census sample of 28 people, who are part of the nursing staff (technicians and nurses) of the Central Sterilization service of the Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo Hospital, Essalud. The survey will be used as a technique; In addition, we will use a questionnaire whose answers are given dichotomously, which presents a modified Likert-type scale, which will be worked on after informed consent. To measure the level of occupational risk in nursing staff, the questionnaire created and validated by researchers Escobar Gonzales, Dania and Vargas Vargas, Rebeca will be used; instrument composed of 33 items in five dimensions, biological, chemical, physical, psychosocial, and ergonomic risk. This research has a high reliability on the Kunder Richardson rating scale of 0.816. The results will be studied and analyzed statistically and presented in a didactic manner using tables or figures.
