Lima, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-29) Manrique Lezama, Patricia Rosario; Hermoza Moquillaza, Rocío VictoriaThe purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the quality of care and the satisfaction of users who attend the dentistry service of the "Nueva Esperanza" health center. Lima, 2022. Material and Method: A study with a quantitative, observational, and cross-sectional approach was carried out. The sample was 156 patients; in whom, the survey technique was applied through two questionnaires: a quality of care questionnaire measured with the SERVQUAL scale and a user satisfaction questionnaire, both previously validated and with a high level of reliability. Results: The quality of care mostly had a regular level in 41.4%; and user satisfaction, a satisfied level of 38.2%. The dimensions tangible elements, reliability, responsiveness, security and empathy obtained a statistically significant relationship with user satisfaction (p<0.05); and a moderate positive Spearman's correlation. Conclusion: The quality of care is significantly related to the satisfaction of patients treated in the dental service of the "Nueva Esperanza" health center.Publicación Acceso abierto Control interno y el abastecimiento de medicamentos en el área de farmacia del Centro de Salud Zarate – 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-06-10) Caja Clemente, Carolina Marizol; Lizarme Arevalo, Diana Justina; Esteves Pairazaman, Ambrocio TeodoroThis research aimed to evaluate whether internal control aids in the supply of medications in the pharmacy area of the Zarate Health Center in 2021. The study's methodology was deductive and descriptive-observational, with a quantitative approach based on a documentary analysis. The research was applied and had a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The population and sample consisted of the internal control and medication supply documentation from the pharmacy area of the Zarate Health Center in 2021. A checklist was used as the data collection instrument to gather all the necessary information from the documentation at the study site. The main results showed that the evaluation of the internal control variable yielded a score of 63 out of 66 possible points, indicating a 95.5% compliance rate. The medication supply variable obtained a score of 37 out of 42 possible points, showing an 88.1% compliance rate. It was concluded that internal control does indeed influence and aid in the supply of medications in the pharmacy area of the Zarate Health Center in 2021.Publicación Acceso abierto Efectividad de un programa educativo en el nivel de conocimiento y práctica sobre prevención de cáncer cervical en adultas jóvenes, Trujillo 2014(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2015-10-07) López Lavado, Milusca Mardeli; Vargas De La Cruz, Verónica del Pilar; Lozano Zanelly, Glenn AlbertoThe main purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the educational program at the level of knowledge and practice on prevention of cervical cancer in young adults, Trujillo 2014, using as variables the effectiveness of the educational program, the level of knowledge and practice on prevention of cervical cancer and user characteristics. The assumption made was that the education program is effective in improving the level of knowledge and practice on prevention of cervical cancer in young adults - Trujillo 2014. The research design corresponds to a quantitative study, quasi-experimental, prospective, longitudinal to measure the effectiveness of an educational program on knowledge and practice on prevention of cervical cancer, the results of measurement of the variables are given in numerically. The population consisted of 40 women aged 20 to 40 who belong to the club of mothers Neighborhood 1B - Trujillo Alto, the current sample includes the entire population. Two surveys were used: one is the level of knowledge about prevention of cervical cancer, and other, preventive practice of cervical cancer. We conclude that the education program is effective in improving the level of knowledge and practice on prevention of cervical cancer in young adults, Area 1B - Trujillo Alto. The level of knowledge and practice on prevention of cervical cancer increases after participating in the educational program for young adults. Methods: Quantitative, explanatory, nonexperimental, applied study. The study population 6389 users assigned to the Health Establishment, shows 362 participants who met the selection criteria, non-probabilistic sampling for convenience. Data collection was through the interview technique, applying the SALSHA-50 questionnaire after accepting informed consent; Bivariate analysis and a logistic regression model to predict the factors associated with health literacy, data processing was performed using SPSS 21 software. Results: 51.4% (186) participants obtained adequate health literacy. For the bivariate analysis (crude OR), statistical significance was found in the variables age (p = 0.007), level of education (p = <0.001), SIS coverage (p = <0.001) and number of visits (p = 0.007); No statistical significance was found in the variables sex or relationship status. The model found statistical significance in educational level (adjusted OR 27.51; 95% CI 4.61-164.17; p = <0.001) and SIS coverage (adjusted OR 2.97; 95% CI; P = 0.045). Conclusions: Adequate health literacy was obtained for the users of the Pucará Health Center (51.4%), related variables were Educational Level and Comprehensive Health Insurance Coverage – SIS.Publicación Acceso abierto El Índice triglicérido – glucosa como factor asociado a obesidad en trabajadores de un centro ocupacional en Lima durante el año 2017-2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-08-26) Zuzunaga Montoya, Fiorella Elvira; Caycho Valencia, Félix AlbertoObjective: Determine the association between the triglyceride-glucose index and obesity in workers of an occupational center. Hypothesis: There is a significant association between the triglyceride-glucose index and obesity in patients of an occupational center. Methodology: The study is oriented towards a deductive approach within the scientific method; it is quantitative, with an observational design and an analytical -cross-sectional analytical, cross-sectional, retrospective. Results: There is a statistically significant association between the TyG index and a BMI greater than or equal to 30 Kg/m^2 in workers of an occupational center. (OR: 1.88; CI 95% 1.10 – 3.19; p=0.020), there is a statistically significant association between the TyG index and ICA ≥ 0.5 in workers of an occupational center. (OR: 3.34; CI 95% 1.76 – 6.92; p=0.012), there is a statistically significant association between the TyG index and CAJIS in workers of an occupational center. (OR: 1.81; CI 95% 1.14 – 2.86; p<0.001), there is a statistically significant association between the TyG index and CA-ATPIII in workers of an occupational center. Material and Methods: The type of study is descriptive, correlational, pre-experimental design, longitudinal section, explanatory level or scope. The population was 480 medical and nursing professionals with a sample of 215 professionals who work in the emergency service of the Dos de Mayo National Hospital, Peru 2023. The sampling was stratified random and a questionnaire was used to measure the waiting time and Lean Healthcare. Results: This research resulted in 54.9% of the respondents being male. 50.2% were nursing professionals and 49.8% were medical professionals. A 11.2% lack of knowledge of Lean Healthcare was obtained prior to application of the proposal, 46.5% of knowledge of the waiting time prior to application of the proposal; and after application of the proposal, 80% knowledge of Lean Healthcare and waiting time was obtained. Conclusions: This research work allowed us to conclude that the specific hypotheses are statistically significant, resulting in the Chi-square Test < 0.001 (𝜌=0.005) for the relationship between Lean Healthcare and waiting time in the emergency service; for the pre-application relationship of the Lean Healthcare proposal and the waiting time in the emergency service, resulting in the Chi-square Test < 0.001 (𝜌=0.005) and for the relationship between postapplication of the Lean Healthcare proposal and the Waiting time in the emergency service of (𝜌=0.05).Publicación Acceso abierto Políticas públicas en salud y eficacia comunicacional del gobierno local con la ciudadanía del distrito San Jerónimo, Apurímac 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-11-27) Gutiérrez Urquizo, Emerson Arístides; Vargas Merino, Jorge AlbertoCurrently, the country is going through a fairly significant socio-economic and political crisis, interpersonal relationships and forms of communication between human beings are affected, bringing with it negative consequences in the harmonious coexistence of citizens in a town, consequently affecting dialogue and communicational effectiveness with your government authorities (national, regional and local). In this sense, the present investigation tries to study this social phenomenon looking for a relation between the communicational effectiveness and the public policies in health managed and administered by the local government of the San Jerónimo district, Apurímac; This research is descriptive-correlational level. The general or main objective of this study is to analyze and explain how communication effectiveness and public health policies of the local government are related to the population. The approach is quantitative, the instrument used is the questionnaire, said instrument being subjected to the judgment of experts. In this study, it was possible to determine that there is a positive and significant relationship between public policies in health and communicational effectiveness of the local government with the citizens of the San Jerónimo district, Apurímac 2021. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to keep the public informed citizen continuously, truthfully and appropriately, since this will allow them to know what is related to public health policies and make appropriate and timely use of them.Publicación Acceso abierto Proceso de calidad y satisfacción del usuario consultorio externo en el centro de salud Luricocha-Ayacucho 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-04-17) Fabian Huarcaya, Edith; Arellano Sacramento, CésarThe objective of this study was "To determine the correlation between the service quality process and the satisfaction of the user of the external office of the Luricocha Health Center in 2019". The population studied were users seen in an outpatient clinic at the Luricocha Health Center (September-October 2019). The calculated sample size was 64 subjects, of legal age who attend the consultation. The instruments to be used were: the SERVQUAL instrument modified by MINSA (the perception part-22 items) and the quality of care process questionnaire (15 items). The majority were women (81 %), had a primary education level (39 %), attended in the medical office (63 %) and were between 18 a 30 years of age (31 %). A simple linear correlation was found between quality process and external user satisfaction, being positive and considerable. Likewise, a simple linear correlation was found between quality human process, quality technical-scientific process, quality environment process and external user satisfaction. It is concluded that when the quality process increases the satisfaction of the external user, it also does so.Publicación Acceso abierto Telemedicina y promoción de la salud en gestantes con riesgo de infección por VIH en un centro de salud, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-07-22) Alcantara Elescano, Monica Belisa; Maguiña Palma, Misael EriksonObjective: The objective of this research was to determine the level of relationship between Telemedicine and Health Promotion in pregnant women at risk of HIV infection. Material and method: Hypothetical deductive, quantitative, crosssectional, non-experimental and correlational research that included a sample of 75 new pregnant women for prenatal care. The technique used was a selfprepared survey for Telemedicine and Health Promotion. Results: 40.54% of pregnant women surveyed were within the age range of 25 to 31 years, in addition there was a direct and increasing proportionality according to the beginning of sexual relations with the andria. 70.67% of the sample had access to Telemedicine Efficiently, 29.33% was efficiently. However, 57.33% of the total did not present assimilation regarding Health Promotion. Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient yielded a result of 0.201 and the p-value was 0.085. Conclusions: There is no relationship between Telemedicine and Health Promotion in pregnant women at risk of HIV infection.Publicación Acceso abierto Trastornos mentales y resiliencia en contexto Covid-19 en pacientes del puesto de salud San Pedro de Casta-Huarochiri, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-06-24) Ortega Alarcon, Carmen Elizabeth; Arellano Sacramento, CésarObjective: To determine the relationship between mental disorders and resilience in the COVID19 context in patients at the San Pedro de Casta-Huarochirí Health Post. Materials and method: quantitative, correlational, non-experimental, cross-correlational study. The sample was patients treated in outpatient clinic at the San Pedro de Casta-Huarochirí Health Post in the period of Dec 2021 and January 2022; 200 patients were chosen non-probabilistically. The Self-reporting questionnaire or Self Reporting Questionnaire (S.R.Q.18) and the Connor-Davidson resilience scale were used. The data collection technique was a survey. Result: 59.5% were female, 27% were between 18 and 33 years old, 42.5% were married, 75% had secondary school, 93.5% were independent. Only 1.5% had a diagnosis of COVID-19. Most of the patients presented high resilience (46.5%). Most of the patients had a low probability of mental disorders in Depression - Anxiety, Psychosis, Epilepsy, Alcoholism (99%, 88%, 99%, 96.5%, respectively). Significance was found between Depression - Anxiety, Epilepsy, Alcoholism and resilience (p=0.048, p=0.048, p=0.007, respectively). No significance was found between psychosis and resilience (p=0.884). Conclusion: Statistical significance was found only between resilience and the dimensions Depression - Anxiety, Epilepsy, Alcoholism.
