Materials and Methods: A systematic review of 10 scientific articles on the effectiveness of hearing protection to reduce the risk of hearing loss in workers was conducted. These articles were found in PubMed and Epistemonikos databases and were evaluated using the GRADE scale to determine their strength of recommendation and evidence quality. Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 50% (n=5/10) were Systematic Reviews, 20% (n=2/10) were Case-Control studies, 10% (n=1/10) was a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT), 10% (n=1/10) were Cohort studies, and 10% (n=1/10) was a Cross-sectional study. All 10 articles (100%) indicate the effectiveness of hearing protection in reducing the risk of hearing loss in workers. Conclusion: According to the 10 scientific pieces of evidence reviewed, all the articles confirm the effectiveness of hearing protection in reducing the risk of hearing loss in workers.
