Ítem Acceso abierto Vitamin K as a protective factor for preventing hemorrhagic diseases in newborns(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-01-06) Almanza Rojas, Julissa Gissela; Chacon Santiago, Maritsa Erika; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethMATERIAL AND METHOD: The systematic review of the scientific articles found on vitamin K as a protective factor to prevent hemorrhagic diseases in the Newborn, were found in the following database Cochrane, Lilacs, Scielo, Medline Pubmed, all of them were analyzed according to the Grade scale to determine its strength and quality of evidence. RESULTS: Of the 10 (100%) articles reviewed, 50% (5/10) correspond to a systematic review, 30% (3/10) correspond to the cohort study, 10% (1/10) correspond to the clinical study randomized and 10% (1/10) corresponds to the descriptive study. Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 100% evidence on vitamin K as a protective factor to prevent hemorrhagic diseases in Newborns. CONCLUSIONS: It is concluded that the systematic review of the 10 scientific articles reviewed, 100% evidences the existence of vitamin K as a protective factor to prevent hemorrhagic diseases in the Newborn.
