Initially, the institution's authorization will be obtained to use the Braden Scale for home care assessments. Afterward, the family will be approached, and informed consent will be requested to conduct the survey using the aforementioned instrument. The patient's risk situation will be communicated, and preventive guidelines will be provided as part of the process. The project will take place at the Concepción Medical Center of EsSalud, a primary care facility, where home care is provided to 30 users aged over 60. The project will have access to the sample population following coordination with the institution. It will be explained that there will be no financial impact on the facility, as the researcher will cover the data collection costs and other related expenses.Publicación Acceso abierto Depresión y riesgo de caídas en adultos mayores del programa de atención domiciliaria. Además, conlleva al aislamiento social y casos extremos a la muerte. En el Perú el 3.14% sufren de depresión y el 80 % de caídas en el adulto mayor y no existe estudios de investigación que tengan relación con estas variables. Esto resulta un problema importante el cual resalta la necesidad de investigar, analizar, identificar el resultado de depresión y riesgo de caídas en la población adulto mayor del programa de atención domiciliaria, Iquitos que permitirá determinar el nivel de estado depresivo y su relación con riesgo de caídas en el adulto mayor. El cual nos permite realizar estrategias de intervención multidisciplinario e individualizado, proponer ejercicios multicomponentes de manera preventiva y promocional generando salud y bienestar.Publicación Acceso abierto Efectos de un programa neuromotor en el riesgo de caída de adultos mayores que pertenecen a un programa de atención domiciliaria, Huánuco 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-12-16) Soto Aymara, Lorena; Puma Chombo, Jorge EloyEvalúa la efectividad de un programa de ejercicios neuromotores en adultos mayores en situación de riesgo de caídas. Esta población, que forma parte del programa PADOMI en Huánuco, presenta características fisiológicas propias del envejecimiento, como la pérdida de equilibrio y fuerza muscular, lo que incrementa la posibilidad de caídas. El estudio sigue un diseño preexperimental de enfoque cuantitativo, aplicando la Escala de Tinetti antes y después del programa para medir el riesgo de caídas. El programa, desarrollado en fases progresivas, incluye ejercicios centrados en mejorar la coordinación, equilibrio, fuerza y propiocepción. Se aplicó durante un mes, con sesiones de 45 minutos, tres veces por semana. Los resultados esperados apuntan a una disminución significativa del riesgo de caída en los participantes, contribuyendo a su autonomía y calidad de vida. Este estudio propone que el programa puede ser replicado en otras instituciones con fines preventivos, fortaleciendo el rol de la fisioterapia en la neurorrehabilitación geriátrica.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of home-based palliative care in the older adult(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-02-16) Murga Tovar, Lizette Carmela; Quinto Jurado, Olga; Avila Vargas Machuca, Jeannette GiselleObjective: Systematize evidence on the effectiveness of care home palliatives in the elderly. Material and Method: Systematic analysis of ten articles was carried out. Scientists on the effectiveness of home palliative care for the patient older adult. The articles presented were found in the database Scielo, Pubmed, Dialnet, Lilacs and Epistemonicos. All were analyzed according to the Grade scale to determine the quality of evidence and strength of recommendation. Results: The selected articles were of high quality of evidence; 50% systematic reviews and 50% clinical trials randomized. 30% of the evidence found comes from United States, 20% from Sweden, 20% from England and 10% from China. Australia and Ireland respectively. They all report that palliative care home treatments are effective because they reduce in-hospital infections, reduces readmissions to hospitals, avoids therapeutic fierceness, the family becomes more involved in the care on your patient and are less expensive than palliative care hospital. Conclusions: Home palliative care is effective as long as the family is sensitized, trained and committed to care, guaranteeing an adequate environment. HE recommends before starting home palliative care to perform a comprehensive evaluation of the patient including the family.Ítem Acceso abierto Psychosocial risk and burnout syndrome in nursing professionals, emergencies of a home care program Essalud, Lima- 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-09-05) Solis Mayta, Elia Leslie; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoLabor conditions have always been categorized as physical and environmental risks, but in these current times, due to globalization, there is growing concern about psychosocial risks, which have increased and intensified. Current data shows the extent of the impact on a person’s health. On the other hand, Burnout Syndrome is the consequence of chronic work-related stress, directly affecting healthcare staff because they are in constant contact with pain and death. The main objective of this study is to establish the relationship between psychosocial risks and Burnout Syndrome in nurses working in the Emergency Department of a home care program at EsSalud, Lima - 2021. This research is basic, with a quantitative approach, a non-experimental, observational design, and a correlational scope with a cross-sectional cut. The population and sample are the nurses working in the Emergency Department of a home care program at EsSalud from June to December 2021. The survey technique will be used to collect data for both variables.Ítem Acceso abierto Use of oxygen therapy in patients with lung cancer III and IV in the home care program of a hospital in Lima, October 2016 - November 2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-04-11) Sifuentes Villanueva, Maria Milagros; Urquizo Urquizo, Maria Julia; Chero Pisfil, Santos LucioThe objective was to determine the Use of Oxygen Therapy in Patients with Lung Cancer III and IV. This study was analytical, observational, cross-sectional and retrospective; The sample population was 77 medical records of adult patients with lung cancer, out of a total of 651 with different types of neoplasms from the home care program, selected by non-probabilistic sampling. The hypothesis was tested using the Chi square test for categorical variables, with p ≤ 0.05, with a 95% confidence index. Ethical aspects were mainly considered. The results found that of all types of cancer treated in the home care program, lung cancer is the most common neoplasm with 11.8% (77) patients treated. Of the 77 (100%) patients with Lung Cancer, only 29 (37.66%) required the use of oxygen therapy, while 48 (62.33%) did not need it. It is concluded that there is no use of Oxygen Therapy in patients with Lung Cancer III and IV.
