    Intervals of the reference value of the thyroid profile with the CLIA methodology in pregnant women treated at the San Bartolomé hospital, Lima, 2019

    Summary: Reference values are magnitudes used for interpreting clinical results, underscoring the importance of establishing thyroid profile hormones in pregnant women. Objective: To establish the reference interval for the thyroid profile using CLIA methodology in pregnant women attending San Bartolomé Hospital, Lima, 2019. Materials and Methods: Design: Retrospective, descriptive, cross-sectional, and applied. Thyroid profile results for pregnant women from January to December 2019 were analyzed, grouped by first and second trimesters. Statistical tests for mean, median, standard deviation, skewness, Pearson’s r method for Gaussian distribution, and detection of extreme values using Tukey's technique were applied.
