    Workload and professional quality of life of nurses working at the Hospital II Vitarte EsSalud, Lima - 2021

    Objective: Establish the relationship between workload and the quality of professional life of nurses working at Hospital II Vitarte Essalud, Lima – 2021. Methodology: the research is applied, with a quantitative, observational, correlational and transversal approach. . The census sample was 80 nurses. The technique was the survey applying the Santillán questionnaire for workload and the Karasek CVP-35 quality of professional life scale, translated by Cabezas and validated by Remigio. The chi-square hypothesis test was used to determine if there is an association or dependence between the variables and the non-parametric Spearman correlation coefficient test was used to determine the statistically significant relationship. Results: 58.8% of the nurses who worked at the Vitarte II Hospital of EsSalud, Lima 2021 presented a high level of workload. Regarding the dimensions, it could be seen that the mental load was high with 63.7%, while the physical load was found at the medium level with 63.7%. 61.3% of the nurses had a good quality of professional life. No nurse (0) reported an optimal or poor quality of life.
