Methodology: Applied type, deductive method, quantitative approach, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and retrospective design. Data was collected from 328 medical records using a validated instrument, organized in Microsoft Excel, and analyzed with IBM SPSS version 24. Results: A moderate level of 73% was identified regarding the characteristics of antibiotic prescription-indication. The most frequent indications were preoperative antibiotic prophylaxis at 31.7% and urinary tract infections at 28.66%. Obstetric-gynecology specialists prescribed 95% of the antibiotics, with the highest frequency in the third trimester at 82.1%. The most used antibiotics were Beta-lactams at 79.27%, particularly Cefazolin 1g injectable at 25.8% and Cephalexin 500 mg tablets at 13.9%. Dosages were appropriate in 99.70%, and 93.3% of the prescribed antibiotics were classified as risk category B. Conclusion: The characteristics of prescription-indication were appropriate, as prescriptions were issued by specialized physicians, taking care to ensure accuracy in the indication, dosage, type of antibiotic, frequency, and compliance with the FDA risk classification categories.Publicación Acceso abierto Cumplimiento de las buenas prácticas de prescripción de medicamentos por dosis unitaria en la farmacia de emergencia del Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal de Lima, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-10) Martinez Chumpitaz, Angela Rosario; Caldas Herrera, EmmaObjective: To evaluate compliance with Good Prescription Practices (GPP) for unit dose medications in the emergency pharmacy of INMP in Lima, 2022. Method: This study employed a quantitative approach, applied type, observational, descriptive, and retrospective design. It analyzed a sample of 20,497 prescription sheets. The instrument used was a data collection form. The results were clear, aligned with the objectives, and supported by the "SPSS version 25" program for statistical analysis of the variable and its dimensions. Results: The findings reveal that the majority of medical prescriptions comply with GPP. The level "complies" predominates in all dimensions. Specifically, in the "medication data" dimension, the "complies" level was 85.5% in 371 prescriptions analyzed. In the "prescriber data" dimension, the "complies" level was 78.1% in 339 prescriptions analyzed. The other levels of the variable compliance with GPP were less than or equal to 53.7%. Conclusion: The study concluded that the majority of medical prescriptions comply with GPP for Unit Dose medications in the emergency pharmacy of INMP in Lima, 2022.Publicación Acceso abierto Cumplimiento de las buenas prácticas de prescripción de recetas únicas estandarizadas en el Centro Materno Infantil Lurín en el año 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-12-04) Chumpitaz Arias, Brigitte Corina; Cruz Mejia, Lucy Ciriana; Chávez Flores, Juana ElviraThe prescription is the collegial medical act, with precise legislation, by which the physician, based on competencies and specialization, applies rational scientific criteria and ethical principles to issue standardized single prescriptions from the patient’s account, which should contain all the information required by the good prescription practices standard. The objective of the present research was to evaluate compliance with good prescription practices of standardized single prescriptions received at the pharmacy area of the Maternal and Child Center of Lurín during the period from January to December 2018. Methodology: This is a descriptive, retrospective study of each standardized single prescription. The study population consisted of 14,000 standardized single prescriptions, from which a sample of 394 standardized single prescriptions was determined according to the corresponding formula. Three dimensions of the standardized single prescriptions were evaluated: prescriber data, patient data, and medication data. Results: It was found that 19.7% of the prescriptions failed to comply with good prescription practices, with a margin of error of 5%. Regarding patient data, 11.8% of prescriptions did not comply with the standards; concerning the prescriber, 14.6% of prescriptions failed in registration; and concerning medication data, the noncompliance reached 30.1%. Conclusions: There is a high degree of noncompliance with Good Prescription Practices in the standardized single prescriptions received at the Pharmacy Service of the Maternal and Child Center of Lurín during the period January–December 2018.Publicación Acceso abierto Gestión de talento humano de enfermería del Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza nivel III – Lima 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-01-09) Espinoza Rimas, Dorcas Ruth; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa MariaObjetivo: Determinar la gestión del talento humano de enfermería. Metodología: el estudio la investigación será enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado, el diseño será observacional de tipo transversal. La muestra representativa es de 59 coordinadoras de enfermería, el muestreo es no probabilístico por conveniencia. Técnicas e Instrumentos para la Recolección de Datos: La técnica aplicada es la encuesta, el instrumento es el cuestionario d cuenta con 30 ítems para evaluar las tres dimensiones, validado por juicios de expertos y para la confiabilidad del instrumento se utilizó el Alfa de Cronbach con un 0,913 de alta confiabilidad. Metodología: el método será deductivo con enfoque cuantitativo, el tipo de investigación: será aplicada, con diseño: observacional, descriptivo, transversal. La muestra representativa del estudio estará conformada por 58 profesionales de enfermería con cargo de jefes de servicios de enfermería con trabajo presencial y remoto en un hospital nivel IV, la técnica e instrumentos de recolección de datos: en la técnica de relevamiento de data se aplicará la encuesta en un solo momento, mediante el instrumento “habilidades gerenciales “lo que representa un Alfa Cron Bach De 0.964. Procedimiento: Los datos obtenidos se procesarán en un periodo de dos meses, y como herramienta se utilizará el programa Excel, para mayor precisión y exactitud, luego se exportará a un software SPSS versión 25.0. Análisis estadístico: para la evaluación descriptiva se utilizará tablas de frecuencia, medidas de tendencia central, y dispersión y representaciones gráficas.
