    Nursing work overload in critical areas of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Regional Hospital of Pasco - 2020

    Introduction: this work has a quantitative approach aimed at measuring the characteristics of the social phenomenon being investigated to obtain results that allow generalization. Likewise, this research will use the descriptive design, since the aim is to describe the phenomenon under study. Likewise, it will also be cross-sectional, since the facts will be made known as they occur, at a given time and space, with the aim of making known the properties that allow measuring and evaluating the dimensions that have been established to carry out this work. . The population is 60 nurses who work in critical areas. The inclusion criterion is nursing staff who work in critical areas and wish to participate in the study and the exclusion criteria are nurses from other areas and nurses from the same area who do not wish to participate in the study. The technique that will be used in this investigative work is the survey, through its instrument the questionnaire called the Work Overload Measurement Instrument. In this sense, this questionnaire is organized into four dimensions: physical load (16 item), mental load (15 item), shift work (13 item) and organizational factors (24 item); Each of these sections has been organized according to the 4 dimensions proposed in this study: physical load, mental load, shift work and organizational factors. The rating is dichotomous.

    Stress level in mothers with newborns hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit in a provincial hospital in Lima October – November 2020

    The present study is of an application level, quantitative type because its variable is subject to measurement, results can be obtained on numerical scales, the method is descriptive and cross-sectional, since it will allow us to obtain testimony of reality as it is presented over a period of time. and defined space, whose objective is to determine the level of stress of mothers with newborns hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit of a provincial hospital in Lima, October - November 2020. To meet the objectives, the Modified Maternal Stress scale will be applied. This scale is supported by the Likert measure of 4 scores, which starts from 1 (no stress) to 4 (exaggerated stress). It consists of 4 sublevels that evaluate the degree of stress of mothers regarding: the NICU unit, condition and behavior of the baby, maternal role, relationship with the health team. Which will be applied to all mothers of newborns hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit during the research study period.
