    Objective: To determine the prevalence of lipid-lowering use in patients attending the Manchuria pharmacy in the Chicha district, January - December 2022. Methodology. Applied cross-sectional descriptive method that opted for a data collection form as an instrument. The total population studied consisted of 85,383 sales receipts, processed and statistically analyzed. Results. It was observed that the highest percentage of lipid-lowering use was recorded in February 2022, with a point prevalence of 3.5% (0.035). 9.1% of lipid-lowering use was reported in patients who attended the pharmacy between January and March; 85.3% purchased fewer than 10 units of lipid lowering drugs; The most frequently requested lipid-lowering agent was atorvastatin 20 mg, representing 47.9% of the prescriptions. 64.2% of prescriptions included concomitant medications with lipid-lowering agents exceeding 5 units of other dosage forms in patients attending the pharmacy. Conclusion: The point prevalence of lipid-lowering agent use was 3.5% among patients attending during the summer.
