(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-02-29) Costa Pisfil, Erika Amavila; Elías Garcia, Karen Pamela; Avila Vargas Machuca, Jeannette Giselle
Objectives Systematize evidence on the effectiveness of subglottic aspirations for reducing pneumonia in patients with mechanical ventilation. Materials and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, the search was based exclusively on articles with full text, and the chosen studies were subjected to a critical reading, based on the GRADE evaluation to identify their level of evidence. In the selection, 10 articles were chosen, of which 20% (2/10) correspond to the United States, 20% (2/10) Australia, 10% (1/10) to India, 20% (2/10) ) Canada, 10% (1/10) China, 10% (1/10) France and 10% (1/10) Belgium. Of these there are 2 systematic reviews, 4 meta-analyses, 3 clinical trials and 1 control study, all of high quality. Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 100% (10/10) demonstrated that aspiration of subglottic secretions reduces the incidence of pneumonia and edema problems compared to tracheal aspirations. Conclusions: It was shown that aspiration of subglottic secretions is effective in reducing the risk of pneumonia associated with mechanical ventilation.

(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-02-08) Acuña Guerzoni, Liliana Patricia; Espinoza Cordero, Tula del Carmen; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa María
Objective: Systematize evidence on the Effectiveness of cleaning and disinfection of the laryngoscope in a Surgical Center to reduce complications due to infections. Materials and Methods: The systematic review consists of 10 scientific articles. According to the type of study design, 50% (n=5/10) is a systematic review, 30% (n=3/10) is an experimental study, 10% (n=1/10) is a cohort study and 10% is a cohort study. (n=1/10) descriptive study, which agrees with the expected result in the present study. According to the quality of evidence, it was found to be high in 80%, moderate in 10% and low in another 10%, depending on the country where the investigations were carried out, they were 30% in Brazil, 30% in the United States, 30% India and 10% Turkey. To find these studies, the following scientific research search engines were used: Epistemonikos, Researchgate, Pubmed and Google academic. Results: Of the 10 investigations analyzed, it is evident that 70% (7/10) demonstrate the Effectiveness of cleaning and disinfecting the laryngoscope in the Surgical Center to reduce complications due to infections. Conclusions: According to the research analyzed, it was obtained that 70% (n = 7/10) of the 10 articles demonstrate that there is effectiveness of cleaning and disinfection of the laryngoscope in the Surgical Center for the reduction of complications due to infections and 30% ( n=3/10) show the cleaning and disinfection of the laryngoscope in the Surgical Center as ineffective in reducing complications due to infections, therefore, it is recommends using disposable laryngoscope blades to help reduce the spread of nosocomial infections, thus avoiding complications.

(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-02-08) Anchante Urbina, Erika; Miranda Vidal, Yesmily; Matta Solis, Hernán Hugo
The following work systematizes the effectiveness of skin-to-skin contact for adaptation to extrauterine life in the neonate. Meta-analysis, systematic reviews, randomized controlled trials, a randomized clinical study and a case-control study and Grade evaluation were used to classify the degree of evidence, which were found in the following databases: PubMed, Scielo, Epistemonikos, Sciencedirect. Of the chosen articles belong to the following countries: 1 Uganda, 1 Germany, 1 United States, 1 United Kingdom, 1 India, 1 Italy, 1 Vietnam, 1 Uruguay, 1 Chile, 1 Mexico. Within the evidence reviewed in this work, all support that skin-to-skin contact between the mother and the newborn is effective for their extrauterine adaptation. Coming to the conclusion that skin-to-skin contact is effective for adaptation to extrauterine life in the newborn. Because breastfeeding is promoted, it regulates the temperature of the newborn, maintains blood glucose levels and strengthens the emotional bond. Health personnel in the neonatology area are recommended to put this procedure into practice.

Objective: Establish the risk factors associated with acute myocardial infarction in users of emergency services. Materials and methods; A systematic review was carried out, which synthesizes the results of multiple primary investigations. They are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice. Results: Articles located in the Scielo, Dialnet, Lilacs, Lipecs and Cochrane databases were included in the systematic review, with cross-sectional research designs, 12 scientific articles systematically reviewed on the risk factors associated with acute myocardial infarction in treated users. in emergency, 17% (2) corresponds to Chile, 8% (1) to Colombia, 17% (2) to Mexico, 8% (1) to the United States United States, 8% (1) to India, 17% (2) to Brazil, 8% (1) to Burkina Faso, and 17% (2) to Uruguay, all of them framed in the 12 research articles. Conclusions: Factors such as obesity, hypercholesterolemia, age, overweight (waist-hip ratio) and low HDL concentrations are associated with the presence of Acute Myocardial Infarction in adults treated in Emergency Units, Hypercholesterolemia is the most important risk factor associated with IMA in adults, the factors associated with the presence of IMA are lifestyle and social behavior. In young people, the associated risk factors are tobacco, present in 76.78%, the 12 articles reviewed show us that coronary heart disease and acute myocardial infarction in particular continue to be a very important public health problem in Latin American countries.

Use of adenosine versus calcium channel antagonists for the care of patients with supraventricular tachycardia in the emergency room
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-08-02) Castillo Lazo, Gilmer Eduardo; Soto López, Karla Alexandra; Fernández Rengifo, Werther Fernando
Objective: Systematize the evidence on the use of adenosine compared to calcium channel antagonists in the treatment of supraventricular tachycardia in the emergency room. Material and methods: Algorithms were created and a search was carried out in the PubMed, Cochrane, TripdataBase and PlosOne metadata. Results: A total of 1915 studies were found and of them ten were included in the study. Two publications are from the United Kingdom, two from the USA, two from Australia, one belongs to Singapore, another to Uruguay, another from Germany, and the last from India. Conclusion: According to this review, the quality of the evidence is medium and high and the strength of the recommendation is high only in three articles reviewed. The seven studies affirm that the efficacy of adenosine and calcium channel blocker products are similar in effectiveness. Both medications differ in their side effects: Adenosine due to redness, nausea, chest pain and headache. Calcium channel antagonists have been shown to produce hypotension.
