Adherence to treatment and quality of life in hemodialysis patients in a public hospital

Objective: To determine the relationship between adherence to treatment and quality of life in patients on hemodialysis. Methods: we worked with an applied methodology of correlational cross-section, of quantitative nature, with a sample of 90 patients on hemodialysis through the use of two questionnaires. After its application, data can be collected that will be coded and recorded in a database that will be statistically analyzed by the Spss 25.0 program, with a descriptive and inferential technique, the latter being through the Spearman test that will serve to verify the hypotheses of study and to be able to provide the conclusions of the case.

Coping and adherence to treatment in patients with chronic renal failure, Villa María clinic, 2023

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between coping and treatment adherence in patients with chronic renal failure. We will work with a hypothetical-deductive study, with a non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive, applied, and correlational study, cross-sectional method; The sample will consist of 60 patients with chronic renal failure. To collect information on coping and adherence to treatment, two questionnaires will be used that have been validated by experts and with a high reliability of 0.950 and 0.835 under Cronbach's alpha test. Information gathering will take approximately 25 minutes per participant. Tables and graphs will be used for analysis and interpretation. Similarly, at the inferential level, for the verification of the hypotheses, the application of Spearman's Rho will proceed with a significance of less than 0.05, once the relationships between variables have been established, the conclusions will be issued responding to the study objectives.

Depression and quality of life in adults with chronic renal failure who receive hemodialysis from an EsSalud hospital, Callao – 2023

Introduction: Depression in any of its states causes emotional pain, affecting people in their work and family activities, increasing the suicide rate, due to not receiving timely treatment to help them overcome this stage. Objective: To determine the relationship between depression and quality of life in adults with chronic renal failure receiving hemodialysis at Hospital de EsSalud, Callao-2023. Methods: The construction of scientific knowledge of this investigative construct will be under the protection of the hypothetical - deductive method. The design is non-experimental. The census sample will consist of 80 patients with chronic renal failure who receive hemodialysis at the Hospital under study. The survey will be used to apply two questionnaires on a Likert-type scale adapted by Ocharán for the target population, they are validated and reliable to measure the variables in question. The collected data will be processed in SPSS 25 and the hypotheses will be tested using the statistical test of Spearman's correlation coefficient given the qualitative nature of the variables.

Factors associated with intradialytic complications in patients with chronic kidney disease in the national hospital

Objetive: Determine the factors associated with intradialytic complications in patients with chronic kidney disease. Methodology: A hypothetical deductive research, quantitative, non-experimental, crosssectional and correlational approach will be carried out with a population of 100 patients with chronic kidney disease from the hemodialysis service of the national hospital during the period from July to December 2023. Data Collection Techniques and Instruments: Using the survey technique, the data for the study will be collected, with the application of the instrument the questionnaire that is used to collect data that will be obtained from the medical records of the hemodialysis patients; titled “Immediate complications in patients during hemodialysis in a specialty center in the city of Guayaquil.” It is composed of two parts where information is collected on the immediate complications of the patient during hemodialysis and the patient on hemodialysis (sociodemographic characteristics and associated factors). Validated by the authors Benítez R, Cedeño J who measure immediate complications in patients during hemodialysis. Procedures: The application of the instruments for data collection will be during the period from July to December 2023 and will be emptied into the matrix that will be prepared in the Excel program, all items correctly filled out and exported in the SPSS v24.0 program. Statistical Analysis: The Chi - Square statistic will be used for the result, when the variables are crossed it will be possible to analyze and make graphs and tables.

Knowledge of kidney disease and self-care practices in hemodialysis patients at a level III-1 hospital in Lima, 2023

Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of kidney disease and self-care practices in patients receiving hemodialysis treatment in a level III-1 public hospital in Lima in 2023. Methodology: The research is characterized by its quantitative approach and its use of the hypothetico-deductive method. It is an applied type of research, with a non-experimental design and a cross-sectional approach that focuses on establishing correlations. As for the population, 96 patients attending the hemodialysis unit of a public hospital will be taken into account. Regarding the technique and instruments to be used, it will be the survey. The instruments were previously validated and are questionnaires that will measure the variables, namely: the questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge of kidney disease which has a reliability coefficient of 0.89 Cronbach's Alpha and the self-care practices of these measures which has a coefficient of 0.95 Cronbach's Alpha; the results will be tabulated, the required statistics will be performed and, in relevant situations, they will be represented through tables and graphs. Finally, the level of correlation between both variables will be analyzed using Spearman's coefficient, which will allow obtaining an answer to the established purpose.

Chronic kidney disease is a public health problem, and its incidence has been increasing in recent years, affecting the quality of life of patients. Hemodialysis treatment involves a variety of physiological and emotional changes that alter people's lifestyle, satisfaction and quality of life, allowing users to adapt and improve their quality of life. The present research work will be developed with the objective of determining the relationship between nursing care and the satisfaction of patients with chronic kidney disease treated in the Hemodialysis Unit of the Hospital Alberto Sabogal Sologuren Callao 2023. The work develops a hypothetical deductive method, with a quantitative approach in addition to a cross-sectional and non-experimental design, with a sample of 80 patients in the hemodialysis unit. To collect data, questionnaires were used for each variable with 18 items for quality of care and 22 items for satisfaction. In the case of the results, the information collected will be processed and analyzed through statistical and computer programs such as Spps 25.0, Excel and Word in order to present the results and provide the conclusions of the case.

Relationship between lifestyles and adherence to hemodialysis treatment in patients with chronic kidney disease at the Cayetano Heredia National Hospital, Lima - 2023

Introduction: Hemodialysis patients often have a very specific lifestyle due to the need to undergo treatment regularly. Some important aspects of the lifestyle of these patients include changes in diet, physical activity, social and emotional life. Objective: "To determine how lifestyles are related to adherence to hemodialysis treatment in patients with chronic kidney disease treated at the Cayetano Heredia National Hospital, Lima - 2023". Methods: Following the hypothetical-deductive method, under a quantitative approach, an applied research of non-experimental design, correlational and crosssectional level will be carried out in a census sample of 60 patients to whom a survey will be applied to know their lifestyles through a Peruvian questionnaire that has a proven validity and a reliability of Cronbach's alpha = 0.850; likewise, adherence to treatment will be measured with a valid questionnaire with a reliability α = 0.80. The results will be analyzed using statistical programs such as SPSS 26. The results will be presented and discussed in tables and figures.

This research aims to: Determine the relationship between self-care of vascular accesses and quality of life in patients with hemodialysis in a private clinic, Lima 2024. The methodology: The study is applied at a correlational level, with a non-observational design with a cross-sectional section with a sample of 90 patients on hemodialysis treatment with a participation through two questionnaires validated by experts and with a reliability of 0.809 and 0.840 representing a high reliability, in the data collection the objectives of the study will be explained and how to solve them under the principles of bioethics, which will be an individual process with a duration of approximately 30 minutes for a few weeks, with which it will be possible to develop a database in Excel that can be analyzed in the SPSS statistical program, of which it will provide descriptive results in tables and figures, and inferential results with the use of Spearman's Rho to test the study hypotheses and be able to establish the conclusions of the case.
