Materials and Methods: The study is a descriptive correlational, cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. The population consisted of 110 students from the 10th cycle corresponding to the 2022-I period. The sample size was calculated using a test for finite data, and the sample included 80 nursing interns. Data were collected using two questionnaire-type instruments. The first consisted of 27 items used to measure the level of knowledge, and the second was a 20-item Likert scale used to measure the attitude variable. Results: 59% had a regular level of knowledge, 26% had low knowledge, and 15% had good knowledge. Regarding the attitude variable, 49% of nursing interns showed an intermediate attitude, while 39% had an unfavorable attitude towards biosecurity measures. Therefore, the Chi-square test on the categorical variables resulted in p = 0.01 (<0.05). Conclusions: It is confirmed that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude towards biosecurity measures among nursing interns at Norbert Wiener University in 2022.Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge of biosafety and practices against biological risks in nursing interns at the Norbert Wiener University, Lima – 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-09-07) Asmat Sosa, Kattyuska Marisol; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaThe objective of the present study titled "Level of Biosecurity Knowledge and Practice in the face of Biological Risks among Nursing Interns at the Norbert Wiener University, Lima - 2022" was to identify the connection between the level of biosecurity knowledge and how nursing interns at the university cope with biological risks. The methodology used was quantitative, applicative, and correlational, using a sample of 382 nursing students. The results revealed a positive and moderate correlation, statistically significant, with a Spearman coefficient of 0.5902. It is concluded that there is a direct relationship between the variables studied, especially in the dimensions of universal biosecurity measures, segregation and disposal of hospital waste, and nosocomial biological risk. These findings highlight the importance of disseminating knowledge about biosecurity to promote appropriate practice in the face of biological risks.Ítem Acceso abierto Stress factors in nursing interns at the Norbert Wiener Private University, 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-01-09) Gil Nalvarte, Pamela Lizeth; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeThe objective: Determine what is the stressor factor in the nursing interns of the Norbert Wiener Private University 2019.” Materials: The type of research was quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, the KEZKAK questionnaire was used on 114 nursing interns from the Norbert Wiener Private University, data collection was done through the SPSS program.
