Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of interventions in organizing care to reduce falls in hospitalized patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-01-19) Diaz Conza, Eliana Yoana; Marcelino Ponce, Ruth Elena; Bonilla Asalde, César AntonioObjective: Synthesize the systematic reviews found on the effectiveness of interventions to reduce falls in hospitalized patients. Materials and Methods: 10 scientific articles were investigated, found on interventions for the prevention of falls, these were analyzed by the database Pubmed, Scielo, Nursing Magazine, Cochrane. Of the 10 articles analyzed, 80% (n=8/10) are systematic reviews, 10% n= (1/10) are randomized controlled trials (RCTs), 10% (n=1/10) are meta-analysis. Results: Of these ten articles found, 70% point out the effectiveness of the organization of care to reduce falls in hospitalized patients, 20% report partial effectiveness with established interventions and 10% show ineffectiveness in preventing falls. for hospitalized patients Conclusions: 7 of 10 articles systematically reviewed specify the effectiveness of interventions focused on the organization of care to reduce falls in hospitalized patients. 2 out of 10 concluded that it is partially effective and requires more evidence and 1 out of 10 indicated that there was no effectiveness in the results of the interventions.
