Ítem Acceso abierto Attitudes towards scientific research and its relationship with the disposition for the preparation of theses in nursing students of a private university of Lima, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-09-14) Collado Cotaquispe, Nataly Jazmin; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethWith the general objective of analyzing the relationship between the attitude towards scientific research and the willingness to write theses in nursing students of the x cycle, Norbert Wiener University, 2023. The research has a quantitative approach, correlational scope, the design of the research is non-experimental, cross-sectional, 100 students of the tenth cycle of the Norbert Wiener University have been considered. The instrument consisted of the Attitudes towards research questionnaire and the Scale of willingness to carry out a thesis using the survey technique. The distribution of sociodemographic frequencies of the age of the students indicates that the female sex is the majority in this study with 89% and the male sex is 11%. The attitude towards research with the disposition to carry out a thesis is that there is a moderately favorable attitude with a medium disposition to elaborate thesis in 81%. The attitude in its affective dimension with the willingness to write the thesis is that the attitude is favorable with average willingness to write the thesis in 54%. The attitude in its behavioral dimension with the willingness to write a thesis is that the attitude is moderately favorable with a half willingness to write a thesis in 50%. The attitude in its cognitive dimension with the willingness to prepare thesis is that the attitude is moderately favorable with a medium willingness to prepare thesis in 62%. All outcomes were measured by crosstabulation and Spearman's Rho correlation. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between the attitude towards research with the willingness to write thesis.
