Ítem Acceso abierto Early stimulation and language development in children from 2 to 3 years of age in a health center in Jesús María, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-06-09) Trujillo León, Carol Susana; Benavente Sanchez, Yennys KatiuscaThe objective of this project is "to determine the relationship between early stimulation and language development in children aged 2 to 3 years at a health center in Jesús María, 2024." Regarding the methodology, the study will use a hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design; with a sample of 81 children aged 2 to 3 years who attend their CRED check-ups at a health center in Jesús María, selected using simple random probability sampling. The variables will be measured through the application of the TEPSI Psychomotor Development Test and the Revised Navarra Oral Language Test (PLON-R), both adapted for national use. The collected data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequencies, percentages) and inferential statistics (Kolmogorov Test, Pearson or Spearman Correlation Test). From an ethical perspective, the study poses no harm to the individuals or institutions involved.Ítem Acceso abierto External factors and language development in preschoolers in the initial educational institution San Judas Tadeo in the district of Breña.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-05-24) Pimentel Quillahuaman, Sayda; Cruz Peña, Luz Maria; Zavaleta Gutiérrez, Violeta AideéObjective: To determine the external factors and their influence on the language development of preschoolers at the San Judas Tadeo Initial Educational Institution in the Breña district. Method: Descriptive, quantitative, cross-sectional. The total population consisted of 54 children. The instruments used were the Psychomotor Development Test (TEPSI) and a questionnaire to identify external factors. Results: The ANOVA statistical test was used to analyze the socioeconomic external factors, with the main characteristics being mothers working (55.6%, n=30), family income between 1000 and 1499 (37.0%, n=20), and regarding the child’s caregiver, the parents (53.7%, n=29). The cultural external factors included the use of infantilized language, either always or sometimes (79.6%, n=43), and correcting the child’s expressions sometimes (46.3%, n=25). The psychoaffective external factors showed that parents sometimes overprotect their child (72.2%, n=39), always overprotect (16.6%, n=9), and sometimes correct through punishment (50%, n=27). Regarding the language development area, 81.5% (n=44) were normal, 14.8% (n=8) were at risk, and 3.7% (n=2) showed delay. Conclusion: It was concluded that external factors influence the language development of preschoolers.Ítem Acceso abierto Family environment and its relationship with the development of the language area in 3-year-old children from the AA.HH San Fernando, Surquillo 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-10-02) Juarez Diaz, Maria Graciela; Ordoñez Oré, Danny Fredy; Bonilla Asalde, César AntonioIn this research, the objective is to determine the relationship between the family environment and the language development of 3-year-old children from the AAHH San Fernando, Surquillo, April – July 2018. Materials and methods: The study conducted is quantitative in approach, descriptive correlational in type, and cross-sectional in design. The population consisted of 44 families, and the instruments used were the HOME inventory and the TEPSI test. Results: It was found that the family environment of the study population is predominantly inadequate, with 38.64% of families, where 31.82% of their children show delays in language development and 43.18% are at risk. Furthermore, 34.09% of families had an adequate environment, with 25% of their children showing normal language development and 9% at risk. Lastly, in the moderate family environment, 27.27% of families had children with 23% at risk and 5% with delays. The results and the hypothesis approval were obtained through the Chi-square statistical test, where the P value is 0.000.
