    The research work aims to: Determine knowledge about the effect of laughter therapy on pain in cancer patients at the Augusto Hernández Mendoza hospital, Ica – 2020. Methodology. A prospective, observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study will be carried out in adults belonging to the oncology area of ​​the “Augusto Hernández Mendoza” Hospital. The research work will be quantitative, the research design will be non-experimental. The population will be all patients of the Augusto Hernández Hospital.
