The research titled "Critical Review: Effect of Whey Protein Supplementation, Enriched with Vitamin D and Leucine, on the Clinical Condition of Elderly Patients with Sarcopenia" aimed to provide a professional critical commentary. The Evidence-Based Nutrition (EBN) methodology was used, and the selected articles were evaluated using the CASPe critical reading tool, with the chosen systematic review and meta-analysis titled "Effects of Whey Protein, Leucine, and Vitamin D Supplementation in Patients with Sarcopenia: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis" having an A-level of evidence and strong recommendation grade. The critical review concluded that supplementation with whey protein enriched with vitamin D and leucine improves clinical patterns in patients, such as increased muscle mass, and when combined with exercise, enhances muscle strength and performance in elderly patients with sarcopenia
