Ítem Acceso abierto Perception of humanized nursing care in mothers of newborns hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit of a public hospital, Lima 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-02-28) Blanco Quispe, Lesly Romeli; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoIntroduction: According to the WHO, Neonatal deaths account for around 44% of deaths among children under 5 years of age worldwide. In 2013, it estimated a total of around 2.8 million neonatal deaths. Of these, 99% occurred in developing countries, with the highest rates in sub-Saharan Africa (35 deaths per 1,000 live births in 2013). In Peru, according to epidemiological studies, the neonatal mortality rate has been reduced by approximately 60% from 1992 to 2013. However, neonatal mortality continues to represent a large percentage of infant mortality. The objective is to determine the perception of humanized care of mothers of newborns hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit of a public hospital, Lima 2020. The study design: has a quantitative approach, because statistical methods will be used to determine the levels of the variable. The design will be transversal because data are obtained at a single point in time. To calculate the sample for this research, we worked with a total estimated population of 73 mothers of hospitalized neonates, using a survey technique and the PCHE 3rd version instrument.
