Materials and methods: The type of research is basic, descriptive level, quantitative approach , non-experimental cross-sectional design. The non-probabilistic convenience sample consisted of 60 mothers of children from 6 to 36 months. The survey was used as a technique and a validated instrument as a questionnaire to determine the relevant influencing circumstances. Results: Of the total number of mothers surveyed, we can mention that the circumstances that most influence supplementation is the importance of monitoring supplement consumption with 73.3%; followed by 70% adequate distribution of the supplement; Likewise, 90% indicate that monitoring of the supplementation process is very scarce; 45% do not have positive comments about the supplement; and 21.7% present a level of recognition of the signs and symptoms of the disease. Conclusions: Of all the circumstances that were taken into account, the majority influence mothers to obtain good adherence to supplementation; Likewise, the circumstance related to the person supplying has more influence.Ítem Acceso abierto Mothers' knowledge of the importance of multimicronutrient supplementation in children aged 6 to 36 months at the Centro Materno Infantil Juan Pablo II, 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-08-01) Chavez Romani, Vilma Maritza; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoThe general objective of this research project is to determine the knowledge of mothers about the importance of supplementation with multimicronutrients, it has a single variable that has a quantitative approach of a cross-sectional descriptive type, it will have a population of 80 mothers who attend at the CRED service of the WCC John Paul II, using convenience sampling and mothers will be selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria, the technique that will be used for data collection will be the survey and the instrument will be a questionnaire already prepared. In 2015, this work justifies and needs to address the findings to be obtained, so that health authorities take strategies for health promotion and protection to prevent anemia and malnutrition in children under 36 months.
