    Efectos obtenidos por el consumo de cloruro de magnesio por usuarios con membresía del gimnasio Gladiadores del distrito de Ate – Lima, 2017

    The objective of this research was to determine the effects and benefits obtained from the consumption of magnesium chloride among members of the Gladiadores Gym in the district of Ate, Lima, in 2017. The methodology employed in the preparation of this thesis was qualitative in approach. It is a basic research study situated at the descriptive level. The research design was non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive, and prospective. The study population consisted of 60 members of the Gladiadores Gym in the district of Ate, Lima. A non-probabilistic census-type sampling method was used, meaning the sample size was represented by all 60 users. A questionnaire was applied as the main instrument, with the purpose of identifying the benefits of magnesium chloride consumption. Among the most relevant results regarding its benefits, it was determined that 100% of the users reported experiencing physical and psychological benefits from magnesium chloride consumption. With respect to side effects, 16.7% reported diarrhea and 13.3% reported colitis.
