El acoso escolar y el rendimiento académico en los alumnos del Colegio Experimental de Aplicación CEAUNE – Lurigancho, 2024

El actual estudio tiene como objetivo establecer la relación entre acoso escolar y rendimiento académico de alumnos del Colegio Experimental de Aplicación CEAUNE, 2024. Metodológicamente, fue de un enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental – correlacional, el cual se contó con 88 estudiantes del Colegio Experimental de Aplicación CEAUNE a quienes se le suministraron un cuestionario previamente validado y fiable para medir el acoso escolar, evidenciándose en los resultados que existe una relación indirecta entre acoso escolar y rendimiento académico de escolares del Colegio Experimental de Aplicación CEAUNE, cuyo coeficiente relacional muestra una conexión negativa RS = - 0.503 con un p – valor de 0.000< 0.05; así mismo se evidenció una relación significativa entre las dimensiones desprecio ridiculización, coacción, restricción-comunicación, agresiones, intimidación-amenazas, exclusión-bloqueo social, hostigamiento verbal y robos con el rendimiento académico de los alumnos de la entidad (p-valor < 0.05); por lo tanto, se concluye que el acoso escolar se relaciona con el rendimiento académico de los alumnos.

Child abuse and self-esteem in schoolchildren of an educational institution in Lima, 2022

Objective: To determine the relationship between child abuse and self-esteem in schoolchildren of an educational institution in Lima 2022, Material and Methods: In this research, it is a quantitative descriptive correlational type approach, because its function is to measure the relationship between two variables and cut cross-sectional because the data obtained will be collected at the time, in this study a sample will not be used because it will be applied to all the elementary units due to the fact that the population is small, taking into account the exclusion and inclusion criteria determined for their selection, to whom In addition, a validated instrument will be used in order to collect relevant information in order to demonstrate the relationship between the two variables, self-esteem and child abuse of the students. Statistical results: In this phase information will be obtained through the use of the Software, SPSS, which will allow the processing of the answers established by the instrument; the descriptive part will be carried out, through the two-dimensional analysis, later the normality test will be carried out using the Kolmogoro - Smirnov Statistic to determine if the scores have a normal distribution and thus be able to know if the parametric tests were used; the twelfth hypothesis according to the response of the normality test, the Pearson or Spearman correlation will be used.

Effectiveness of training parents with positive parenting programs to reduce child abuse

A systematic review was carried out of 10 scientific articles evidenced on the effectiveness of training parents with positive parenting programs for the reduction of child abuse that were obtained from the database Pubmed, Scielo, Medline, Ebsco, Elsevier, Dialnet, ProQuest and Google Scholar. They were analyzed according to the Grade scale to determine the strength and quality of the evidence. Of the 10 articles, 40% (4/10) corresponded to the methodological design of a systematic review, 30% (3/10) to meta-analysis and 30% (3/10) to pre-experimental studies. RESULTS: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 90% (9/10) demonstrated that parent training with positive parenting programs is effective in reducing child abuse by improving protective factors and reducing risk factors in families, 10 % (1/10) showed that there is no significant effect of training with positive parenting programs in reducing child abuse. CONCLUSIONS: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 9 out of 10 show effectiveness of training parents with positive parenting programs in the prevention and reduction of child abuse and 1 out of 10 does not show effectiveness of training parents with positive parenting programs in reducing child abuse.

Lesiones bucales sospechosas asociado a maltrato infantil en pacientes odontopediatricos atendidos por cirujanos dentistas de la región Lima - 2024

La tesis tuvo como objetivo determinar la frecuencia de lesiones bucales sospechosas asociado a maltrato infantil en pacientes odontopediátricos atendidos por cirujanos dentistas de la región Lima - 2024. Se realizó un estudio hipotético - deductivo, cuantitativo, observacional, transversal, prospectivo, no experimental y correlacional. La muestra fue 218 cirujanos dentistas. En los resultados se observó una frecuencia de lesiones bucales en los pacientes odontopediátricos con 62,4%. La frecuencia de maltrato infantil en los pacientes odontopediátricos evidenció un 60,6%. En referencia al sexo presentó relación significativa con las lesiones bucales (p=0,045<0,05), no obstante, presentó un mayor porcentaje en cirujanos dentistas del sexo femenino donde evidenciaron 31,7% de lesiones bucales. Asi mismo, el sexo presentó relación significativa con el maltrato infantil (p=0,013). No obstante, presentó un mayor porcentaje en cirujanos dentistas del sexo femenino donde evidenciaron un 30,7% de maltrato infantil. En referencia a la edad presentó relación significativa con las lesiones bucales (p=0,018). No obstante, presentó un mayor porcentaje en cirujanos dentistas de 36 a 43 años que evidenciaron 29,8% de maltrato infantil. Del mismo modo, la edad presentó relación significativa con el maltrato infantil (p=0,035). No obstante, presentó un mayor porcentaje en cirujanos dentistas de 36 a 43 años que evidenciaron 27,5%, de maltrato infantil. Según la prueba de chi-cuadrado, se encontró relación entre variables (p=0,036). Concluyendo que la frecuencia de lesiones bucales sospechosas está asociado significativamente a maltrato infantil en pacientes odontopediátricos atendidos por cirujanos dentistas de la región Lima - 2024.
