Materials and Methods: Quantitative type of study. Design: Systematic, observational and retrospective review, which synthesizes the results of multiple primary investigations. They are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice, the search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to critical reading. using the grade system to determine its strength and quality of evidence Results: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, we found that 80% affirm that automatic washing is more effective than manual washing, likewise 10% indicate that washing manual is effective, in the same way the 10% indicate that manual and automated washing is effective in cleaning instruments. Conclusions: It was evident in the research reviewed that there is effectiveness in automated washing, thus reducing the bacterial load and being safer to achieve an adequate sterilization procedure.
