Material and method: The study has a quantitative approach, its design is non-experimental, descriptive and cross section, with a population of 100 families from 20 to 88 years of age, who work in the Nueva Era Merchants Association. The data collection technique was the survey and the data collection instrument was the RFT5:33 Total Family Risk questionnaire, which consists of 5 dimensions and 33 items. Results: Regarding the total family risk, 71 families with low risk that represent 71% of the total; followed by 29 threatened families that represent 29% of the total and finally 0% of families that do not present high risk. Regarding the dimensions psychoactive conditions (100%), health services and practices (66%), housing and neighborhood conditions (100%) and child management (99%), threatened families predominated, where the most affected dimension was health services and practices. Conclusions: In relation to the total family risk of merchant families, families with low risk predominated, followed by threatened and high risk. Regarding the dimensions psychoactive conditions, health services and practices, housing and neighborhood conditions and child management, threatened families predominated, the most affected dimension was health services and practices.
