Factores asociados a los problemas relacionados con medicamentos (PRM) en pacientes hospitalizados en el servicio de medicina general del Hospital Santa Rosa en el año 2021

Drug-Related Problems (DRPs) constitute a significant issue in the adherence to a patient's pharmacotherapeutic treatment. This research provides tools to identify and prevent the factors that contribute to their occurrence. The objective was to identify the factors associated with DRPs, using a non-experimental, case-control, prospective, and cross-sectional study. Results: A relationship was found between risk factors and the presence of DRPs in hospitalized patients in the General Medicine service of Santa Rosa Hospital. This was demonstrated in 10 variables: inappropriate drug selection, omission of necessary medication, incorrect administration frequency, incorrect administration route, age over 60 years, polypharmacy, renal insufficiency, hepatic insufficiency, narrow therapeutic margin drugs, and high-risk drugs. Statistical data processing was performed using Excel and SPSS, identifying the factors associated with DRPs. The main conclusion was that three factors were associated with DRPs: prescription factors, drug factors, and patient factors.

Factores personales de los profesionales y calidad de los certificados médico legales de integridad sexual en la unidad médico legal San Juan de Lurigancho 2021

The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the Personal Factors of the professionals and the Quality of the Legal Medical Certificates of Sexual Integrity of the San Juan De Lurigancho Medical Legal Unit 2021. To achieve this objective, the type study was carried out. basic, retrospective cross-sectional correlational descriptive design and quantitative approach, taking as the study population 182 Legal Medical Certificates of Physical Evaluations of Sexual Integrity of the San Juan De Lurigancho Medical Legal Unit-2021, which met the inclusion criteria, having as a standard reference for the analysis of the certificates, the “Physical Evaluation Guide for Sexual Integrity” approved by the Public Ministry. From the results found, the Quality of the Medical Legal Certificates of Sexual Integrity in the Medical Legal Unit SJL -2021, are mostly at the regular level with 56.5%, and at the low level with 12.6%, and in quality optimal only 30.7% and analyzing the relationship of the variables using the Chi Square statistical test, a value of p<0.05 at 95% confidence level was found, determining that the personal factors studied of age, sex, specialization and years of experience of the professionals who carry out the Medical Legal Evaluation of sexual integrity are related to the Quality of the Medical Legal Certificates of Sexual Integrity of the Medical Legal unit SJL-2021.

Grado de aceptación a la donación voluntaria de sangre en estudiantes del primer ciclo de la carrera de tecnología médica - 2023

La donación de sangre, es una acción voluntaria que beneficia a personas en condiciones médicas que requieran tratamientos tales como cirugías, quemaduras, enfermedades de la sangre, drenajes o trasplantes, y que hoy en día no muchos realizan, ya sea por el temor, falta de conocimiento, falta de empatía, entre otros factores que han sido observados. Es por ello que el objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar el grado de aceptación a la donación voluntaria de sangre en estudiantes del primer ciclo de la carrera de tecnología médica – 2023
