May Day, Lima – 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-12-30) Segovia Zela, Edith; Palomino Taquire, RewardsObjective: The general objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the capacity for self-care and healthy lifestyles in older adults from the AAHH Primero de Mayo in the district of Villa el Salvador, in Lima 2022. The methodology was based on a study with a quantitative approach, with a descriptive - correlational scope, a deductive method, with a sample made up of 80 older adults to whom a questionnaire was applied to collect information. The results reflected that there was a correlation of 0.629 between the physical activity dimension and lifestyles, likewise, there was a high correlation of 0.708 between the “nutrition” dimension and healthy lifestyles, and there was also a correlation of 0.829 between the “elimination” dimension. and healthy lifestyles, likewise, there was a relationship of 0.637 between the “rest and sleep” dimension and healthy lifestyles, there was also a correlation of 0.604 between the “hygiene and comfort” dimension and healthy lifestyles and a correlation of 0.624 between the “meditation” dimension and healthy lifestyles.
