Ica, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-01-31) Galvez Chacaliaza, Lisseth Denisse; Caycho Valencia, Félix AlbertoThe Objective of this study was: Determine the relationship between occupational risks and the health of the workers of the agro-export company IQF DEL PERU SA., Ica 2022. Material and methods: Hypothetical - deductive study, with a quantitative approach, and with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. and correlational, with a sample of 174 workers, applying the survey technique, and as an instrument a structured questionnaire. Results: Occupational risks were low level 56.9%, medium level 31.6% and high level 11.5%, by dimensions the medium level predominated in ergonomic risks 46.6%, and low level in chemical-environmental risk 78.7%, biological risk 50.6%, physical-mechanical risk 65.5% and psychosocial risk 71.3%. Health was perceived as good level 75.3%, regular level 17.8% and bad level 6.9%, by dimensions the good level predominated in physical health 75.9% and psychological health 71.3%. Spearman's Rho test found a moderate negative significant relationship between occupational risks and perceived health (p = 0.000), and with the dimension’s ergonomic risks (r = -0.414, p = 0.000), chemical-environmental risks (r = - 0.461, p = 0.000), biological risks (r = -0.263, p = 0.000), physical-mechanical risks (r = -0.519, p = 0.000) and psychosocial risks (r = -0.619, p = 0.000), prevailing good health, in workers who perceived that the occupational risks were of low level. Conclusions: There is a significant relationship between occupational risks and the health of the workers of the agro-export company IQF DEL PERU SA.
